The traditional Japanese dishes are excellent too. The takoyaki and fried octopus were delicious, and both the chicken and pork katsu were perfectly fried and served with a fresh side salad, ginger dressing, and katsu sauce. There’s still a lot on the menu I’m excited to come back and try.
Best of all, it’s amazing to have sushi at this level right down the road. I’d usually have to drive 25–40 minutes to San Antonio or New Braunfels for comparable quality. If you’re into high-quality fish and authentic Japanese food without the long drive, then I would definitely give this place a try! I’ve already been back several times since it’s opened, so so so happy we have this here!
The salmon Nigiri was amazing. Melt in you mouth with a nice BIG piece of fish. Do I want Blue Fin tuna? Yes please!
The spicy salmon and avocado roll was delicious. And so was the scallop Nigiri. They used fresh scallops instead of cooked which is great. A lot of places like to use cooked scallops which I don’t like as much.
My wife had the tonkatsu chashu ramen. She enjoyed it very much. The broth was really delicious and creamy.
This place is where the old Q-Sushi used to be which was a regular spot for me. I must say I really like that they kept what was good about Q-Sushi and added a few new menu items that make this place even better. It’s hard to find good sushi in the San Antonio area but this small spot is worth visiting.
My wife used to skip going to the previous place because she doesn’t like sushi. But with the addition of ramen and other non sushi items has made this into a place we can enjoy together.
We sincerely apologize that our previous Google page was lost, which unfortunately caused the loss of many wonderful reviews and beautiful photos. This is our new Google page.
As a high-quality Japanese restaurant, we carefully select premium ingredients to ensure the quality of every dish. From our tableware to our ingredients, everything is sourced from Japan. We use premium Japanese Koshihikari rice to make our sushi, allowing guests to fully experience authentic traditional Japanese flavors.
We also offer delicious ramen, and we warmly welcome everyone to come and enjoy our food.
I ordered the Katsu Ramen, and it was fantastic. The broth was rich and comforting, topped with all the essentials: a perfectly soft-boiled egg, corn, narutomaki, and bamboo shoots. The katsu itself was served on the side, which I appreciated because it stayed incredibly crispy and golden-brown throughout the meal.
To wash it all down, I had a Yuzu-flavored Japanese soda. It was bright, refreshing, and the perfect citrusy pairing for the savory ramen.
This place captures that authentic “hole-in-the-wall” ramen shop vibe perfectly. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu!
It’s that perfect hidden gem!
