I can see why Zen Ramen and Sushi has a strong rating. I brought my two daughters with me. I been trying to convince them to try what I dub “fancy ramen” and they finally went with it. They both now like Tonkotsu ramen; no surprise. The ramen was quite good. We liked the sushi as well. This is a good solid spot close to my house.

Utilizing its small space to its best, Zen Ramen has been a restaurant I’ve found myself returning to several times throughout 2024 since first visiting nearly one year ago.
Despite “ramen” being listed first in the business name, I would consider the restaurant’s focus more on sushi. There is a lot of variety of rolls and nigiri with numerous kinds of fish and seafood present, and it’s well-made and good-tasting. The sushi bar seats eight, and the wait from time of order to food being delivered is speedy. As far as ramen, it is fine but not prepared as authentic as it should be, though it’s ultimately acceptable as a hot dish full of umami flavor.
Apart from the sushi counter, four booths are also available, and it’s not uncommon for the business to be full or near-full. Yet, even during those times, service is prompt and friendly.

Me and my wife went to Zen Ramen and Sushi in Berryville. The food was amazing and didn’t take long to be served to us. Pictured is the Takoyaki Balls with Tuna Avocado Salad for appetizers, they were phenomenal. Got the Caterpillar and Akira roll which was so amazing it melted in the mouth. Then we got the Tonkotsu Ramen and Miso, the broth was thick and flavorful. The Ramen egg was cooked perfectly and you get plenty of noodles! Last but not least is the Bobba Thai tea which was so good we took one to go. The servers were great they kept the drinks topped off and picked up the plates as we were done with each one. It’s really small like 3 booths and about 10 seats around the sushi bar but the atmosphere was calm definitely relaxing while enjoying dinner. Overall great experience and will be repeating customers!

My husband and I are long time fans of zen ramen! The staff are so friendly and try their best to accommodate you and your needs! The prices are very competitive and they are consistent! We love the ramen and my husband always enjoys the sushi too! The tempura fried vegetables are some of the best I’ve ever had! The only downside is there are only three booths and some counter seating. Very rarely do we not get a booth right away though! This is definitely a hidden gem!
