Truly amazing experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the manager. We sat at the bar and Gene made our drinks perfectly. Firstly we had the shrimp tacos which were the best shrimp tacos I have ever had in my life. I will go back just for the shrimp tacos. I had wings and sweet potato fries and hubby had the Jamaican steak sandwich and everything was superb. We will be returning to try everything on the menu. Before I forget the drink we’re great I had the passion punch mocktail and hubby had the rum punch (it was so nice he had it twice) we will definitely return. Oh I forgot to mention that the ambience was “Unpretentious comfort wrapped in friendly energy” and very modern with great music.

My daughter brought me here for a pre-birthday celebration. I had the lamb, mac and cheese, and collard greens!! Me & my guy came to Zen for brunch and was not disappointed. Firstly, the music was dope! My guy was also able to watch his fav football team in the big screen while we ate. The ambiance was great…well lit, spacious table settings and very clean! We didn’t have to eat to be seated and our waters was very attentive and kind. The food was great…I had the creole shrimp and grits with a side of cheesy scrambled eggs and the portions did not disappoint. He had steak, which was very well seasoned but not salty, eggs and home fries. The meal tasted awesome. Before we left, the Owner Jo, came over to ask how our meal was and that was a nice touch to the whole experience.This spot is a VIBE! Check it out…you won’t be disappointed!

my favorite meal was the fillet fried fish. Half of our table ate the salmon with rice and peas It comes with a side. I took a whole Fried red snapper to go. We ordered some lemon pepper and honey garlic wings very good. The jerk chicken was very good and it came with mashed potatoes. for appetizer, we had the ceviche cups- bang bang cauliflower. Drinks we had the rum punch- great place to just chill by the bar and eat.

Writing this review as I sit in the spot with music bumping. Couldn’t be more disappointed. This is my 2nd time here and all I can say it they have so much potential but it just misses for me. Party of 5. We showed up around 1010pm and were seated instantly. It’s now 1129 and our entree still hasn’t arrived. We watched a couple get served eat and drink and leave before we got ours. All we got was apps. I refrained from writing a review the first time I was here but the service was the same. Atmosphere great. But that’s where it ends. Drinks are forgetful. Hookah cheap decent pricing. That’s the reality. Maybe when you show up you’ll get served better and have a decent time but for me? For a second time? It’s a lot of hope and disappointment. I’m going to save this and hopefully I get my dinner soon. If it wasn’t the fact that I ate nothing today I would’ve left already but it is what it is. I’ll continue to wait. Let’s see how long until I can have my stew chicken.
Oh and the DJ on this night 4/11/25, he should’ve been put out in the rain with his equipment. Song choices were on point; the way he put them together were not

I originally gave a 5 star review on Google because the food is delicious. HOWEVER, I checked yelp reviews and a lot of people were saying they found hair in their food… so l decided to OPEN UP my shrimp quesadilla to make sure there was nothing in there and of course I found a piece of hair!
I already ate most of my food, so I wonder what else was in there! It’s a shame because the food is very flavorful, but it seems like there’s an issue with cleanliness.

This place was AWESOME! The food and drinks were amazing. My husband and I went here 1 night on a whim and now we are pretty much regulars. The Chef is VERY talented and consistent! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone use to having EXCELLENT Caribbean food at a VERY reasonable price. See you there!

Second time here, food was good and decided to do a pick-up order for my lazy, self-care day. Grilled salmon meal was everything! Staff was friendly and seated people near the front were happy and loud so a good sign. I will come back especially since I saw a happy hour ad.

My fiancé her son and I were there for dinner and it was AMAZING. I follow Zen Lounge on IG and I always wanted to see how the food and atmosphere was like. Being that her son was visiting her from LA, We decided to go there for dinner. It was a slow night due to the weather. But, The service was Amazing…. The prices were Amazing….. The bartender was also the server and he did both jobs with ease. He made Great drinks and Served us with such great food. You can tell that he takes his job seriously. He recommended great drinks and gave his advice on the food. I wish I had his name. ♂️ As a DJ I would love to rock in this spot. This can definitely get my money again.
