Had an amazing time visiting Zen Cha with calming atmosphere and creative menu. I tried the mango matcha latte and sakura salted honey matcha as recommended by Barista Mikey. Excellent service and would come back again!

The matcha was rich and slightly sweet, and it was cool to see it made in front of me, tea ceremony style. But the staff didn’t really explain much and the service felt a bit cold, which made the vibe kinda uncomfortable. It’s mostly a to-go place — very small, limited seating, and surprisingly no restroom. Not sure if I’d come back.

Let me tell you how much I absolutely looove this matcha spot! (˶˃ ᗜ ˂˶) . The vibes are immaculate from the interior design to even the music selection. The matcha is soooo green ✧｡٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*｡and I’m a massive fan of the clean ingredients used for all their drinks. They also have special drinks on the weekend so I always feel so spoiled for choice (fav so far is their blueberry vanilla latte)

I wish I could live at Zen Cha Matcha, it’s so amazing. Drinks are phenomenal. Desserts are phenomenal. You can tell by the menu that everything has been well-curated and handcrafted with options depending on what experience the customer is looking for. And the ambience is the perfect set to match. The owner and staff are all so kind, if you get a chance to chat with them you can tell they have a such a passion for their trade.

Best matcha I’ve had in CT! Sipping on my Mango Matcha Latte was the perfect way to start off a sluggish Monday. The ambiance was lovely, and the baristas were super friendly, especially Mikey. I would definitely recommend stopping by again soon!
