I recently visited Zen Asian Sushi Bar & Grill in Northfield Central Park, and it is a fantastic addition to the local dining scene.
The Vibe and The atmosphere are very nice and sophisticated. Most importantly, it’s not loud, which is a rare find these days. It is the perfect spot for a professional dinner meeting or a romantic date night where you actually want to hear each other speak.
The Food Absolutely delicious. You can tell they prioritize high quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was fresh and beautifully presented.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service pacing. While our waitress was very friendly, a bit over attentive, checking in on us every five minutes. While I appreciate the diligence, we really needed a bit more space to just talk and look over the menu without being interrupted.
Aside from the slightly rushed feeling from the service, everything else was perfect. I will definitely be back for the food quality.
If you’re looking for a quiet spot for a conversation in Central Park, this is definitely the place just don’t be afraid to tell the staff you need a few extra minutes!

The eye appealing dishes are served up with loads of flavor — especially the Chicken Fried Rice each— were was phenomenal. Other offerings were just as enticing— the trendy restaurant is fully of crowd pleasing Asian Fusion dishes with creative and colorful portions that leave you very satisfied.

Stuck here in Denver because the truck is having several issues, so I came here to eat by Lyft. Honestly, I have no earthly idea why this restaurant does not have a full 5 stars. Seaweed salad is one of my favorite things, and this was hands down, the most fabulous seaweed salad that I’ve ever had. Not only was it utterly delicious, it was a very generous portion, and it had a large amount of very expensive vegetables and fruit in the base. Normally I am not a fan of mango, but the ingredients combined with it tasted absolutely devine and complimented them like they have been in a century-long marriage together. It just fit like a taste puzzle. Fresh Asparagus, golden cherry tomatoes, high-grade lettuce variety, baby spinach were in it as well. My compliments to whoever prepared that. The sashimi was top grade as well. Fresh, scrumptious, gorgeous. It was like a reward for all the Hell I’ve been through lately! The rolls were awesome. I like that they roll them tighter. I do not have a huge mouth, so I appreciate the extra work on the sushi chef’s part so I can chew my food up easier and without looking like a chipmunk stuffing their mouth to prepare for a rough winter. ❄️ The restroom was clean and did not have a foul smell like many restaurant bathrooms. The entire restaurant had a rich ambience and is beautifully decorated, dressed like an imperial lady ready to welcome important guests. As well as being pretty, it was comfortable. Highly recommend, and I have been to Japanese restaurants all over this country.

Went to Zen Sushi for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and so good. Austin, the food runner, was super fast, nice, and funny even though it was busy. He made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

I’ll start of by saying I read the reviews, and was alarmed by one very bad review. However, my experience was not bad. The service was very good. The servers and manager were very attentive. Food….let’s say….ok. It was a bit salty. So I could not enjoy it with the chili paste as I usually do with my fried rice. Sampled a friends dish, looked amazing, but also too salty. The calamari appetizer was good not too salty. Atmosphere, the usual busy feel like any restaurant. Not many people at the sushi bar. Restroom was clean. Will I go back? Only if friends insist, not a restaurant I would pick on my own.

I am partial to sushi but they have good kitchen food entrees too! Tiger roll is a fav too. Don’t forget the banana caramel spring roll- its to die for!
