I never like giving bad reviews but overall, I’d have to give Zeman’s 1.5 stars. I was excited to try this bakery out and their version of 7-Layer cake. Unfortunately, it was incredibly dry. It must be their recipe because I came in an hour after the bakery opened and the lady cut me fresh pieces. The actual flavor profile was good but it was unbelievably dry. The crinkle cookie however was good and the bakery was clean and pleasant. Staff were also nice. I only wish the 7-Layer Cake was better.

Mamash the best pastries and confections that ever existed! Their intricate and expert confections can fill any stomach. Even the fresh aroma which meets you by the door, makes you wish you could eat every last Kichel on the shelf! They also make challah, which is a big hit. Zemans features the best pastries physically, but even in regards to Kosher, they make sure to satisfy every expectation in Kashrus. Everything is under strict Kashrus. Did I even mention the prices yet? Well, even if you have good food, you gotta have good prices. Well then you found the right place. Very. Good. Prices. If you happen to find yourself near this wonderful bakery, you might want to satiate your hunger with a culinary delight. They serve soup, Kichels, donuts, cookies, cakes, danishes, challah and anything else you can possibly think of. Make Zemans your top bakery! Check it out – it’s worth it!

Just added this little delightful pastry shop to my list of 2021 favorites. The freshest pastries and break in the area. I love apple turnovers and they have to be light, fresh and mouthwatering. I purchased one along with several other pastries and it was simply delicious.
Everything is safely taped off to prevent any exposure to guest, employees and food. Customer service was excellent, prompt and very courteous. Something a lot of places are lacking.

While in town we google for a local Jewish bakery and we found Zeman’s. Very nice place had a nice selection of items. Pricing was really good too. Worth a visit.

So glad they are there! My husband used to frequent the original bakery when he was a child with his father. We live in South Lyon and haven’t been in years because we did not know they reopened. Excellent service, beautiful interior, very clean and the cookies, horns, and breads are perfect! We would love to see them branch out to bagels someday!

The bakery was very clean with friendly staff. Lauryn was very helpful with explaining the different types of bread and baked goods. The was a huge variety of goodies to choose from. The cheese danish was amazing, and the bread was delicious.

Had an outstanding experience placing a small catering order (~150 items) for an event.
They had an option for mini pastries, which were priced excellently and still quite a decent size. We tried a couple dozen of a few different items, and everything was superb quality and visually appealing.
The mini fruit flan tarts received rave reviews from everyone, and the cinnamon pull-aparts were a simple, classic addition to the spread of full-flavor pastries.
It is also a major perk for event planning (considering attendee allergies) to know they are a Kosher and nut-free kitchen.
Will definitely be a returning customer!!

Bread is great, but I love sweet items. Chocolate bear claws, brownies, cookies, chocolate eclairs, seven layer cake, poppy seed rolls, cheese danish. You want it, Zeman’s has it. Service is excellent.

Opening the door a delicious smell hit my senses, they had soup on and it smelled great. The goodies in the case looked ever better. Staff was friendly, looked like they may be doing some addition to their place too.
We picked up several different pastries. The cinnamon swirl rolls were fantastic. Not too sweet and the cinnamon was very flavorful. Also got a load of challah bread. So good, I’ve been eating it right out of the bag.
I’ll be back, I wish I’d found this gem years ago.
