They really have a weekend bouncer that be selling snow to eryb. All the bartenders know and they don’t do anything about it! They have people in there selling too and not one thing is done about it. I’m calling the popo next time for sure since no one takes action. I’ve been sober for 5 months and seeing stuff like that !!!

My dad and I stopped by here to get some beers. The entrance was a little hard to find. It was in an alley but the main entrance is actually through the beer garden. The interior is really cool looking. The atmosphere is early 1900s themed. Honestly, just a really cool building. However, I did take a few stars off for the blaring loud music. I couldn’t even hear the bartender to order. I personally wasn’t a fan of the draft beer. They only had one draft, it was an apple cider ale. I think IPA fans would like the beer but I just didn’t care for it. Good news it was only $2 a beer on the day we went. If I came here again I would recommend ordering a bottle or can beer and sitting in the beer garden to block some of the loud music. Regardless, the atmosphere is really cool and historical.

Great little literal hole in the wall. The inside bar is decent and it has an outdoor heated area for smokers. Do not go there expecting nice things. The bartender is usually very nice and the drinks are well made. You can have a good time here if you are not expecting a modern establishment which can be said about 85% of the bars here in town.
Since I am a smoker it is one of my preferred establishments.

Zeller’s Inn is a bar in the heart of downtown Ottawa. It is a larger bar, featuring an indoor/ outdoor patio with 2 pool tables, 2 dart machines, and a punching machine. Smoking and drinking is allowed on the patio, making this spot a favorite for both large and small groups and is a favorite spot for the locals to meet up.
If you ever want to meet new people, Zellers Inn is the place! At the very least, the bartender is nice, and will gladly conversate with you and answer any questions you may have since she is familiar with Ottawa.
As for their menu, I have yet to try it, so I will have to go back and investigate the dishes that they offer.

I love the antique vibe you get when you walk through the door. A little bummed they didn’t carry cider boys but I’ll never turn down some crisp refreshing Busch lattes. The indoor/outdoor bar area is pretty sweet. 2 pools tables, darts, and enough seating to gather the crew for a real good time. Plus they have an extra out door seating area. I’m sure I’ll be here many times in the near future

Service is great, cordial and speedy, atmosphere is great as it’s an old building and they even offer succinct cards of the history of the building. However if you came for the chairs, the chairs are horrible. The one I claimed wouldn’t turn left. It would spin right but not left. I recommend this place to anyone who likes speedy drinks, a staff that interacts with you, and an atmosphere with a rich history. However if you came for the chairs like me, it may leave you dissapointed. Overall great place will come back for a different chair.

Went there for the first time. The bartender was absolutely disgusting. She was racist, out right talking about Hispanic people and how much she “hates them”. Super unprofessional. And it’s sad because it’s a cute place but I’ll never ever be coming back. Hope you get fired.

Not sure if it’s under new ownership.. but went here in October of 17.. lots of bums that the police kept chasing out, 5x in 3 hrs. The pool table outdoors was nice. Had no food, small drink list. Afraid to leave even when we had a ride because of the police presence following every patron there. Hope they straightened that out.

Love this place!! It’s really a nice piece of Illinois history. Staff is always friendly. The inside is a sight to be seen. If you’re visiting Ottawa come check it out.
