Brisket is very tender. Natural flavor and smokiness you won’t need bbq sauce it’s delicious by itself. Pulled pork is very juicy. And the ribs is well-cooked and tasty. Their beans is hearty warm. Stopped by on my way home and never regretted the decision. Will surely come back.

Stopped in on way through. Ordered the Spartan at the start of the busy lunch rush. They couldn’t have been more polite and helpful with the order. We debated getting some jars of BBQ sauce for home but didn’t as we hadn’t tasted anything yet. Once at our destination, the family tore in and oh my… The meats were excellent and the potato salad was the closest to Grandma’s we have found. And the sauce? We are now placing an order to have some shipped. Great BBQ top to bottom.

Small town bbq with a big taste…. I’ve eaten BBQ all over the State of Texas this place tops many high profile BBQ joints I’ve eaten at, always perfectly cooked and has all the right seasoning that brings out the big taste… the beef brisket is top notch, the smoke sausage is unlike the average smoked sausage… they also have great seasoned fries, I’m not tator guy but these are addictive.
I’m Gman in Fort Worth and this is my opinion and I know not everyone’s taste is the same, but I smoke alot of meats and try alot of place’s these folks have it down when it comes to making BBQ.

Great flavor, pulled pork and ham sandwiches for lunch.
Seasoned fries were great straight out of the fryer. Beans with brisket chunks were delicious, Mac and cheese excellent, Cole slaw just right and potato salad fresh. First time and definitely not the last. Thank you.

Great brisket and pulled lean pork! Very juicy and good smoked flavor. Nice portions. BBQ sauce was good. The vinegar & pepper stood out but neither were overwhelming. Potato salad was unique. More minced than I’m accustomed to but good flavor. Mac-n-Cheese was more like an Alfredo sauce. I think next time I will add their BBQ sauce to the beans as that is all they were missing.
It was nice to have the option of Fountain drinks or bottled. I opted for the fountain drink and was not disappointed in any way. I’ll definitely go there again.

By far the best ribs I have had travelling around Texas, good enough in fact for me to buy a large container of his rib rub. The brisket is among the top five in Texas I have had. The sides were homemade and very good. His BBq sauce was excellent. Windthorst TX is very rural, but this BBQ is worth the drive!!!!!

Authentic Texas pit bbq. Excellent flavor. Generous helpings. Sandwich is big. Complimentary pickles, onions, peppers.

This place isn’t perfect, but the only imperfection is that it’s a couple of hours from my house. Obviously, I need to drive to Lubbock more often, and stop here coming and going!
The chopped brisket was excellent, and the fries were crispy, and the nice lady who took our order was delightful. I can’t wait to come back!

Stopped by and had a meat platter which included brisket, sausage, pulled pork and ribs. Brisket was fine but not much flavor and a bit on the dry side. Sausage was very good and the best of the bunch. Ribs were a close second, cooked perfect with great flavor. Pulled pork was very dry but the sauce they use in house made it pretty good. We have a lot to compare it to as we have made it through 34 of the 50 in Texas monthly top BBQ joints in Texas. Zeke’s was an honorable mention in said magazine and rightly so. Not quite a top 50 yet but close.
