I have lived near Zeitouni for years, but never knew it existed. A friend of mine suggested we give it a try and all I can say is WOW! If you like Mediterranean food (and especially Lebanese) this is your spot. I got the Chicken Tawooq Special. It was so good! I’ve gone back a couple of times since. Try the spicy garlic sauce, it’s really great!

Stopped here on our way and tried two shawarmas recommended by the staff — they were amazing! It was my first time having shawarma with za’atar and sumac, and I loved it! Highly recommend this place. (It was so good that I only remembered to take a photo after I’d almost finished eating!)

Great authentic Mediterranean food. The Tawooq sandwich and the hummus are my favorite.
They have many good options. The service is fast and the staff is very helpful and polite.

I tried Zeitouni in Charlotte and it was really good. The beef shawarma wrap was delicious and the hummus was tasty too. The seating area is very simple though.

Chicken Gyro, 4 pieces of chicken. Why is the falafel Grey. I’ve seen green and a light tan color, standard.

These spots now a days… idk what yall really rating them on?? This is not quality for the price. This should be labeled a kids gyro.
DO BETTER!

What a treat! This place was delicious for Mediterranean. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with a side dish of Falafel. The gyro tasted fresh and the spices were perfectly done – one of the better ones I’ve tasted in the area. Also, the falafel was well done – not too dry and plenty of flavor. Their hummus is also one of the better ones! The Mediterranean salad my wife ordered was incredible if salads is all you desire. The deserts we ordered to go so my review on that will come later 🙂 The establishment was clean and staff was friendly.

I recommend the chicken shawarma wrap. It’s a very casual spot but I would classify it above fast food though their restaurant is basically setup like a sandwich shop. So far the persons working have been helpful in helping order and offer suggestions but there’s not much service to be had with a self service kiosk, a call out to get your food that’s ready, and self serve drink station. Still, I recommend their food.

The service and atmosphere was great. However, I ordered the chargrilled lamb platter and it was terrible. The meat was so dry and overcooked. However, the tzatziki sauce was great. I feel like I got a two-star meal for a five-star price.

We eat here at least once a week. The food is fresh, flavorful, and the portion sizes are perfect. The service is really quick and polite! I recommend the chicken gyro sandwich or the shish tawook – they’ve been our go to for weeks. If you’re feeling fancy, add the stuffed grape leaves and spicy garlic sauce

Wow! I almost never leave bad reviews, but I feel compelled. I am a huge foodie and have been blessed with the opportunity to enjoy the best of Charlotte’s mediterranean offerings. However, my the experience here did not even meet minimum standards like freshness and proper cooking. First, the tabbouleh was far from fresh – it was a Saturday afternoon and I can only estimate the tabbouleh being served were included leftovers from Friday or even Thursday (it was borderline slimy). Second, the chicken skewer ordered as a side to the tabbouleh tasted like the grill had not been cleaned in a long time, and it was laden with thick chunks of black char. The employees were not friendly, either. The restaurant is at a Tesla Supercharger, which I was using while my home charger was being worked-on. There are much better choices at this Tesla Supercharger, including the quick Italian (Buana Vista – friendly and delicious) or the high-end tapas (Mirot – elevated and memorably tasty).
