Visited last night $7 for an IPA that was flat and only poured 3/4. Service charge added at 15% not a very good experience and I won’t hurry back.

The food is surprisingly better than average and also exceeds my expectations. I have onlyvisted this establishment twice, most recently I’ve ate here (once) and the first time I was basically third wheeling it, and I had two drinks at the bar while trying to kill time. I had the cheeseburger which was surprisingly delicious, I mean of course it was Delicious but was better than my expectations. The atmosphere is nice, it’s adjacent to the famous Wonderworks, so after you could visit that attraction for some WOW, or either before. It makes no difference, but whatever you do, try to make the best of it.

I was staying at the hotel and selected this place . There is only open seating. I was told to order food at the tiny bar. The menu was SMALL and only few items to chose. I noticed the employees seemed busy organizing the bar
There was a used beer smell. Very unpleasant. I ordered cheese burger. I sat at a table. They brought my food. It was very difficult to get refill on drinks as there are No servers. Very loud music. My burger was OK
Cooked well done when I asked medium. I don’t know why they ask how you want your burger cooked. Fries were just ok nothing special. There were several tv with various sports. Just meh

Great service. Bar tender was making drinks and taking togo food orders, didn’t skip a beat. The burger tasted flame broiled, I enjoyed it. Fries were crispy. Salad was mixed greens, nothin wilted. Very happy. Kids mac n cheese was baked yum.

Terrible service from bartender Ricardo and his manager. I asked Ricardo how much a shot of Gin was. He told me they are about $6.50. Fair price for a hotel bar. I asked what kind they have, he listed them and I chose Bombay. He served me the shot in a glass and I downed it. Shortly later I asked for 2 more shots but asked how much for tanqueray instead. He looked it up in the system and told me it was actually a little cheaper than the Bombay. So I asked for the two more to be tanqueray instead. My wife and I took the shots. Shortly after I provide my card, and Ricardo brings a $45 receipt. Very confused, I ask him why the bill says $45. He tells me that I asked for doubles. Even more confused now. I tell him that I never ordered doubles. He just stands there looking at me not offering up any kind of solution and I’m standing my ground assuring him that I never ordered double shots. Why else would I ask him specifically how much a single shot of him was? He goes and gets the manager. They talk for a good minute privately and the manager comes to me asking what happened. He made no attempt to solve my issue, rather, immediately sided with Ricardo. After explaining very clearly to the manager what happened he walks to the register. I call over Ricardo and tell him that I’m not trying to give him a hard time but asked him to please tell me when exactly I asked for double shots. He said that I “asked for 2 more”.
Well yes, I asked for two more of what I originally ordered (one shot of gin but tanqueray instead).
I felt humiliated in front of the other patrons. I felt like Ricardo thought I was scamming him or something.
To “resolve” Ricardo’s mistake, he offered to remove one of the double shots from the bill but he said he had to keep the other 2 doubles. I should have paid right around $20 for what I actually ordered. But with the only resolution he provided, I was forced to pay over $26 for something that I did not even order.
Really poor service and customer service on behalf of Ricardo for treating me like I was some kind of cheap scammer, and the manager for unprofessionally siding with Ricardo, and not bothering to actively listen to me a guest, not apologizing for my experience, not solving the problem adequately, and not thanking me for my patronage.
Ricardo, the tip you would have received went to the bar because you chose to still charge me for more than what I ordered.
What a shame that a manager of an esteemed hotel would treat a customer this way. He needs serious training in solving customer service.
I can confidently say that without my issue being resolved and a formal apology from this manager I will never return to this location again. Remember that your patrons can take their hard earned money anywhere else, yet they choose to bring it to you. You should feel an obligation to provide the highest quality of service and guest satisfaction in the industry. The one thing they did excellently was lose a paying customer forever.

Absolutely love this place the bartenders are brilliant they’re very talkative and friendly and have a good chat with you . The food is absolutely delicious the burgers are quality just what you need after a full day at universal and disney 🙂 i can’t wait to go back there we love the hotel and the bar ,yes the hotel is abit dated but it has everything you need and is a nice place to be

Great place, bar staff are all amazing especially Ricardo who made us feel completely at home and is a credit to the hotel. The live DJ is very good, didn’t get a chance to visit on karaoke night but I’m sure that’s great too!

The food was very delicious, we tried burgers and chicken wings, draft beer and cocktails great taste too, reasonable prices and great service from the bar guys. It’s a good option if you stay resting at the hotel
