We visited this location based on Google Reviews and YouTube Videos. Almost every YouTube video suggested Zea Rotisserie & Bar and we know why! Our waitress was amazing and very attentive despite the place being fairly busy. I ordered the red beans & rice and it was Amazing! My wife had the Sweet Chilli Glaze Rotisserie Chicken. Oh my the flavors, they will make you slap someones mother! Everything was so good. We even got a visit from the Chef while we were there and he told us about the 25 year history of the restaurant. He suggested “don’t wait 25 years to come back”, we didnt wait 25 hours! We had reservations at a other restaurant the next day, we ended up canceling that just to come back and try more dishes. I wished I wore stretchy pants when coming here because i wasn not able to stop eating.

HIGHLY recommend this amazing restaurant!! There isn’t a dish we’ve tried that we didnt enjoy. Cocktails are always on point. The whiskey basil drop is a must try! This is definitely our go to place for great food & drinks!

Zea Rotisserie and Bar has truly earned its excellent reputation in Lafayette, and after our recent visit, we completely understand why! The moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone for a great evening. The menu is impressive, offering a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes.
Our server, Andre, was nothing short of exceptional. His warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm made our dining experience stand out. We were so engrossed in our conversation with him that we forgot to take more pictures! Every recommendation he made was spot on, especially the Thai ribs, they’re an absolute must-try. The corn grits were a delightful surprise, truly a standout dish.
And if you think you can skip dessert, think again! The Sweet Potato Pecan bread pudding was to die for, definitely save room for it! We also loved the Smokin’ Oldie Cocktail and the Asian Almond Shrimps, which added to the overall fantastic experience.
They are currently undergoing a remodel for an expanded bar area, which is exciting! Overall, we had a wonderful evening at Zea and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have picked a better place at the last minute.
We arrived around 8 p.m. in Lafayette, and the closest restaurant was Zea and they close at 9 p.m so we had to hurry up!
The food was EXCELLENT, the drinks were amazing, and the service was outstanding! Shout-out to Sydney, who made us feel very comfortable.
We would love to go back again!

Oct. 30, 2025- Lunch– Went to Zea’s Roisserie (Restaurant) bar in Lafayette was absolutely delectable: great lunch combo: Crispy shrimp and Grits (with etoufee sauce), soft drink and side item (you can choose soup or salad). Tip: Ask for Etoufee sauce on side (it is bland)–recommended fried shrimp and grits ask for 2 salad dressings to dip shrimp: pepper jelly salad dressing and thai peanut salad dressing). When you get the shrimp and eat eith other sauces, they are a great compliment to the shrimp and grits! So delicious with 2 salad dressings for shrimp dipping!
Corn grits were clearly cooked with delicious cream and butter- how perfect.
Brownie with aramel and ice cream were so delicious– Chase the sever was so helpful and professional!

Zea Rotisserie & Bar is a go-to spot for me, and I keep coming back for good reason. Their Thai ribs are absolutely outstanding perfectly seasoned with that ideal balance of heat and flavor, and the meat falls right off the bone. The hummus is also fantastic; it’s creamy, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. What I love most is the consistency. Every time I visit, the food and service are reliably excellent, which is harder to find than you’d think. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy a great meal whether I’m going solo or with company.

This was our 2nd time dining at 6 it did not disappoint either time. This time, there were some new items on the menu that we tried. The 1st was the Kung Pao Cauliflower for an appetizer. It was absolutely delicious! Then, for our entrée, my husband had the Bronze Stuff Trout, and I had the Caribbean Grilled Catfish. They both were good but I like my husband’s dish the best. The service was great. The manager checked on us a few times, which was very nice, and the atmosphere was nice. Would recommend.

Par for the course! Zea never disappoints. From the corn grits to the ribs to the shrimp to the broccoli, they are so consistent. I’ve been coming here since ULL days and they taste exactly the same.
The ambience and the staff are awesome and we had a great server named Aidan who was courteous, accommodating, and expedient.
