Good but rotisserie chicken was a bit dry. Also, would have been nice for the server to tell us that the main dish had lots of green beans. We ordered greens as a side and could have ordered a different side.

Food and service is always top tier. We have never had a bad experience here and always have plenty of food to take home in a to go container. We drive out our way to go to this location and often come for impromptu visits, especially when my husband has to choose. Today, it was just my daughter and I. We had an amazing server, her name was Brittany J. She was the most attentive waiter we’ve ever had. Oh and the food was delicious. The bathroom was clean and the environment welcome and visually appealing. TVs/music is not too loud and the AC/heat is set at a good temp. There is always ample parking and we are seated immediately. We eat out often as a family and for lunch meetings and I am always turned off when we go to a restaurant and have to ask them to clean the tables and especially if they wipe the food and it lands on our seats. I am always impressed at how the tables are always ready and clean at Zea’s, waiting for guests and also how quick they clean the tables when a guest leaves. As new residents, I am so happy we have found this wonderful restaurant.

Very unpleasant experience!!! Mariam the host attitude was VERY nasty, she eyed me as soon as I walked in, I instantly felt attacked! I noticed the difference in her attitude with the other customers but was very nasty with me and I called back and asked her what’s the problem she blamed it on having multiple orders, mind you I came in with a great attitude because I’m excited to pick up my meal BUT I’m no longer going to that location anymore !! And the food was ok… broccoli had something white in there and they were bland, lacked flavor and the ribs was burnt wasn’t fresh, I had a better experience at the canal location.

The food is absolutely bland,overcooked, over priced. Food literally compares to a tv dinner. Waitress was nice but didn’t get my order right. Pretty inside though and the food photographed well. That’s about it.

Unfortunately, I’m disappointed to say that Zeas has fallen off in terms of service, food quality, and customer care. I received a to-go order with chicken that was poorly presented – it looked like a piece was missing. When I asked about it, I was told it was cut that way. When I pointed out it looked incomplete, the attitude shifted to ‘take it or leave it’. I asked for a refund and left. It’s unacceptable to serve food like this, especially to loyal customers. With a new location opening, I hope they prioritize quality and customer service. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s sad to see such a decline.

I’m always so happy to come to a Zea’s location whenever I’m in New Orleans or surrounding areas! My favorite dishes are the MEDITERRANEAN HUMMUS and the THAI RIB STACK! My favorite drink is the SPA MARTINI.
This time I ordered the full sized Mediterranean hummus appetizer with a side of grilled chicken with the sumac seasoning. I also tried a salad that I hadn’t heard of before that was really different for me but great!
I love the fact that there’s a happy hour that pretty much lasts all day, the service is great every time and the establishments are always clean.

Stopped in for Lunch at Zea for the first time. The rotisserie chicken with sweet chili glaze was tender and tasty. Lunch portion came with two sides. I chose the Zea potatoes and Thai green beans. Both were good; portions were a bit on the small side but were adequate for me. Grilled trout was small but tasty;accompanying broccoli and rice was “alright” (according to my husband). Our smallest diner (7) loves the kid’s fried shrimp and side of broccoli. Overall not a bad meal. Everything was fresh, but again, you might think portions are a bit small. Service was good and atmosphere was comfortable; restaurant had a modern, clean feel.

I was contacted by the general manager Walter at the Clearview location on Google reviews, and I called and spoke with him about the issues I mentioned below. He was very polite and friendly and we had a good conversation and the issues that we discussed were acknowledged and there was recognition of a failure and a commitment to doing better. I encourage everyone to contact the management when they have an issue as they are very responsive especially Walter. This is clearly a restaurant that is trying to put its best foot forward and do a good job by its customers.
A letter to management:
I like this location — it’s convenient and has a nice atmosphere — but the quality can really vary depending on the day or time. Some days the salads are great: fresh, crisp, and topped with nicely grilled chicken. Other times (especially weekends), they come soggy, drenched in dressing, with what looks and tastes like a frozen pre-sliced chicken slab. Salads should always be made fresh, with dressing added right before serving.
I always thought Zea made their chicken fresh daily, so if they ever run out and need to use something different, it’d be better if they told customers instead of just serving a substitute.
The most disappointing part was a recent visit with my girlfriend. We asked to sit by the window, but the hostess made us wait, saying the waitress “needed time to catch up.” We sat up front for several minutes even though the restaurant wasn’t full and that section wasn’t busy. I’ve never experienced a place delay seating customers for that reason — it felt like the staff’s convenience came before the guests’, which is backwards for hospitality.

We last minute decided to here on a Saturday night and had a great experience. Our waiter, John, was so sweet and helpful explaining things on the menu and finding things we would like. Our entrees and appetizers came out very fast and our cups were never empty. Great experience.
