I the mood for a different type of soul food if you know what I mean . I had been to this place before a while back and do to schedule conflicts on my was unable to try it again until now.
Well things change and sometimes as it is in life and business not always for the best.
Good staff place is clean but the menu offerings and flavor have changed a good bit.
Still worth a try for something different.

Awesome to find a Hawaiian restaurant in Greensboro. There aren’t many vegetarian options but they kindly let us swap the protein for agedashi tofu. It was tasty but didn’t come with any sauce, which was a bit of a disappointment. Luckily there was some on the table. The mac salad was also good as well as the takoyaki.

I didn’t even get to try the food, maybe in the future I’ll give it a chance. We walked in and weren’t greeted, they clearly saw us. Waited 10 mins while other customers walked in and were greeted and taken care of. Once we decided to leave, they asked us if we were dining in. My partner and I were down from Pennsylvania to visit family and we wanted to get some good Hawaiian BBQ that we like to get back in Philly and we came across this place with a semi low rating but the food looked amazing and reviews wasn’t bad.
We walked into the place and was greeted and sat ourselves. Withing less than five minutes we had meus and order our drinks. The staff was prompt and nice. They had couple of large parties and take out orders. We ordered two apps and two entries. They were out of one thing we really wanted to try but it was understandable was holiday weekend. The apps came out quickly and tasted amazingly. The dumplings was perfectly cooked all around and the spam matusbi was so good great portions of everything. Also loved all sauce choices on the table. My partner got pork and had amazing taste and melted in your mouth with the fried rice. The chicken katsu and there sauce was out this world good. The crunch was great the coating stayed on and sauce took it to the next level with hint of a bite to it. The rice was cooked well and paired nicely with katsu. The green salad that had nice dressing with sweet hint of pineapple in it maybe. Everything was light and enjoyable. The staff really went out there way to make sure every table had a great experience. We left with that good filled feeling and happy we visited. We are 7hrs and 24 minutes away from this place but definitely would visit again. If your in the area and want some bbq Hawaiian style this is place to go. Don’t sleep on this place. You be surprise what you may find in your own back yard. Don’t just take my word for it check it out yourself. Thanks to all amazing staff at ZC for the wonderful dinner and care..

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. It appears they’ve added some new options to the menu. I ordered what I was familiar with, and it still tasted as good as it did before they made the changes. So, no complaints here.

It was pretty good. I have stayed in Hawaii and ofcourse food was delicious locally. So trying this place I had great expectations. It is ok compared to local food from Hawaii. But it is good to get your Hawaiian food fix.

Amari and Joanna both attended to us when we came in for a late lunch, and was an excellent experience. The food was fantastic, the refills plentiful, the environment nice and relaxing (to the point of being nearly meditative), and assistance was readily and immediately available. The ice cream was top notch in terms of texture and flavor (as long as mochi ice cream is something you are looking for). The prices are fair and reasonable. I will be returning, this place is excellent in every regard.
