This was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. Located on Main St in Danbury. One way entrance and exit with a private parking lot. They have a Halal grocery store attached which you can access through the hallway. Clean inside with charming decor. Our waitress was fantastic. Great service and constantly check to see how we were doing and how the food tasted. Paying in cash saves you a few dollars on the bill.
We originally came in for the buffet which we found out they no longer did. We ended up getting two lunch specials and splitting it. We got the Chicken Tikka Misala and the Lamb Curry. We also got the Onion Naan. At first I thought the portion looked small. By the end of the meal I couldn’t eat another bite. The chicken and lamb were packed with flavor and spices. I loved both but preferred the chicken a little more. The basmati rice was also good. I mixed the left over sauces in with the rice to not waste any. It also came with chana sag. I liked the flavor but am not crazy about chick peas. All of that for under $30. Overall a fantastic first experience with Indian cuisine. Looking forward to going back in the near future. 5 stars!

Beautiful meal at Zaytuna! Came later in the night around 8 and was seated with my lovely friends and we had a wonderful time here. Our server was so sweet and kind.
Everything came out quickly. The atmosphere is soothing and safe to be apart of and I love their round table. Also love the family feel of this restaurant and can’t wait to come back to try more.

Such an amazing place that’s a M U S T to check out if you’re a lover of Indian food!
I was having some issues placing a Grubhub order but I couldn’t give up on getting this amazing food. I decided to schedule a pickup order. After placing an order for about 10 people on the phone, the staff was just so kind and loving and carefully placed my order. When I arrived, everything was carefully packaged and labeled and they helped me escort the food safely to my car.
The whole experience was great! The restaurant itself is really nice but the staff is even greater. A little market is available right next door where you can purchase all their goods.
Food: YUM. It was delicious with their awesome twist. Can’t wait to come back here and get some more yummy food from this great place!

Fantastic food and amazing customer service. First time trying as well as coming to this restaurant, what a pleasant experience. The food had so much flavor, the aroma was so pleasing. The staff wanted to make sure we had the best experience and we did. We will most definitely be back. Recommend anyone to go here.

Loved the ambience and the friendly staff too. The food was tasty although I couldn’t order the grill specials as it would have taken more time. I tried the Indo-Chinese and ordered the chicken Hakka noodles. It tasted more like schezwan than the traditional Hakka noodles. But overall a good experience

My experience was swell , very attentive and welcoming People here.
The Food was Great I had the Meat Samosas with the Tamarind Sauce to start and it was Delicious.
Then the Milk Tea they prepared that was deliciously unique.
Followed by the Goat Karahi a flavorful curry dish with a side of Rice that went great together.
And a Side order of the Dahi Vada a cake like yogurt salad that was also tasty.
Definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

Came back and Tried the Vegetable Samosa Full of flavor with the Tamarind Sauce and then with a entree of the Combination Platter which was Great and a Dance of the Taste buds which was also with Naan Bread so soft and delicious as well as a Delectable Seafood soup

The bill was cheap, servers were pleasant, food came out fast. Would recommend. If your preference is mild spice, ask for it in advance. (Very spicy, but otherwise delicious!)

The drive was worth it! Drove from Poughkeepsie, NY to eat here and was not disappointed. It is not easy to find places that have good vegan food. Zaytuna was great. We even took some to go!
