Had a great experience at Zaytoun Halal Grill! The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous and everything tasted amazing. The owner was also very kind and even offered us soft drinks for free, which was a really thoughtful gesture since drinks aren’t normally free.

Zaytoun Halal Grill Authentic Flavors and Outstanding Service!
As a Top Google Local Guide, I’ve had the pleasure of trying many restaurants, and Zaytoun Halal Grill is easily one of my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant I sampled a variety of their dishes from the juicy lamb kabobs and flavorful chicken shawarma to the crispy falafel and everything was absolutely delicious.
One standout surprise was their Philly cheesesteak sandwich — tender, perfectly grilled beef, melted cheese, and just the right amount of seasoning. It’s one of the best halal versions I’ve ever had!
The rice was light and fragrant, the sauces were rich and creamy, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
If you’re looking for authentic halal Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food with generous portions and consistent quality, Zaytoun Halal Grill is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to explore even more of their menu.

We were there planning to spend not more than 45 mins since i had to leave for an appointment. Once we got in, there were a lot of people ahead of us and we were worried we would not get the food on time but the service was quick and the food is amazing. The staff is friendly and they even gave us a mango lassi for free. The lassi is another level very yogurty and seems to be made with good ingredients. Great spot for grabbing lunch or dinner with family. They even have whole rotisserie chickens which i need to try next

So I went to Zaytoun Halal Grill after seeing their chopped cheese on Instagram, and I was super excited to try it. I ordered through their app and picked the chopped cheese that was advertised to include grilled onions, bell peppers, ketchup, lettuce, cheese, and mayo. In the app, there was an option to customize, so I selected no lettuce because I don’t like lettuce — but I still wanted everything else as listed.
First off, I have to say the people working there were some of the sweetest I’ve encountered. This was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and helpful everyone was. Before I ordered, I asked about the difference between the spicy and non-spicy chopped cheese, and one of the guys there explained it clearly, which I appreciated.
When I got home, though, I was disappointed to find that my sandwich didn’t have any grilled onions or grilled peppers — and unfortunately, the meat was a bit overcooked. So while I was really looking forward to it, the chopped cheese just didn’t hit the mark for me.
That said, I also ordered the chicken over rice combo while I was there — and that was amazing. Flavorful, well-seasoned, and honestly the highlight of my meal.
So overall, while I probably wouldn’t come back for the chopped cheese based on how it turned out, I’d definitely return for the chicken over rice or other Halal options. Again, the customer service was really amazing and that alone makes me want to give them another try.

originally, I was gonna go to the flavor hive, but their distrustful and promote false advertisement when I got there all four of the food trucks were closed and we drove an hour almost 2 hours from Baltimore so we were just really excited about this so once we found out, it was closed and we spent all this time looking for another place to eat. We came across this Halal restaurant and we decided to try it out just so we wouldn’t waste a lot of time when we went there. Everything was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The staff was really nice. There was a lot of space and once we ordered, we had the option to order from the register man or from the kiosk. I chose the kiosk. It was very easy to interpret. There was accurate pictures of the food and everything was a good price when we ordered the food and we got the food. It was a lot of food. It was a great amount of food. It was a great amount of sauce. they were not stingy with the sauce and because we drove all this way and we didn’t get the food that we wanted we told the register man what we were doing here and how far we came and he gave us 4 free sodas. i’d really love to come here again this is a great place.

Just had an amazing meal at this restaurant. Everything was incredibly delicious, but the fish over fries and lamb over fries dishes were absolute standouts.
I highly recommend them! The meal prices were good, and the portions were sufficient. I hope they will maintain these two awesome qualities.
Beyond the fantastic food, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Great food, and great service. Lamb platter is delicious, seasoning and sauces are delicious on the lamb and rice. Ample servings. Very friendly and helpful service after we hit a snafu with an online discount. Staff were very kind and accommodating. We will definitely return. Thank you!
