Fantastic food, atmosphere and service! We warmed up in Zaytoona on a cold winters day with a delicious lunch of warm pita and the mezze platter, a beef lamp shawarma wrap, mint tea and pomegranate lemonade. It was all amazing and some of the best hummus ever! We will definitely be back!

Excellent Mediterranean meal. I came by because of the excellent reviews and they certainly did not disappoint. I got their kofta bowl and some baklava. Both we extremely. The kofta bowl was perfect – meat was cooked properly and the rice was nice and flavorful. Baklava was an excellent treat at the end of a wonderful meal. Would definitely try again if the chance occurs again.

The service in this restaurant is some of the best I’ve seen, and the food was out of this world. I would heavily recommend the Baba ghanoush was by far the best I’ve ever had, the spices in it, plus the quality just made it feel amazing.

Visiting from out of state and wanted to try out the place.
Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive, which I truly appreciated. The presentation of the food was also very nice and everything looked appealing when it arrived.
Unfortunately, the taste didn’t match the appearance. The seasoning and spice balance were off across several dishes. The kofta was the worst I’ve ever had, a person without any kitchen experience can make a better one. the shawarma had a flavor profile that felt more like Indian-style spices than traditional Middle Eastern, and the kunafa was quite disappointing.

I came here on a Saturday night with a large group and the restaurant was great at accommodating us. We had a large order given our group size and the food was served at a reasonable time. We tried the family platters among other appetizers and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for good halal or Mediterranean food in the area.

Zaytoona’s is completely underrated. I’d been hearing about them for MONTHS before I actually had an opportunity to try their food. It is absolutely delicious and their quality is unmatched. What I love is that every single dish is packed with flavor, even the hand cut fries. Everything is HOT HOT HOT and perfect even if you order take out. They have some amazing staples, but I highly recommend trying something that you have never tried before, like the Arayes or Beef Kebbh. They’re two of my favorite dishes. Note that their online menu and in-house menu are also different. Something to dive into in-house is their Lamb Shank – their shanks are started early in the day, and by the time they’re done, they are FALLING OFF THE BONE. It’s absolutely delicious. AND if you’re a fan of bone marrow, this is the dish for you, but make sure you call in ahead for this because sometimes they sell out, especially on the weekend. Their service staff are also top notch-every single person is absolutely wonderful and so helpful. Definitely ask for recommendations if you aren’t sure what to get. Their menu is not extensive, which means that the Chef makes every single dish is prepared with care and passion – you can definitely taste it! Highly recommend for in-house dining or take out!

This place did a great job accommodating our large group. We made a reservation and they had everything ready for us when we arrived. The restaurant was a bit busy but they still did a good job with the service. We got a couple sharing mezze platters and chicken wings (one order of wings includes eight). The wings were popular with everyone – great spice and flavours.
We also got some sharing mixed grill platters. There’s quite a bit of food in them. They said one platter serves 2-3 but it’s good for 3-4, especially if you get appetizers and sides.
Once again, everything was great and all the food is halal.

Best halal I’ve had since the Balkans. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the fire roasted flavors of the mixed grill was spot-on. The tomato sauce on the chicken is to die for. Homemade pita, and the mocktail juice drinks are sooo refreshing. My girlfriend has spent some time in the UAE and said this was the best Khunafa she’s had since leaving there. Also very impressed with the quality of the Muhammara. Service was quick even though it was one guy basically running the whole front of house. In an out at around an hour for 80 bucks (appetizer, main courses, dessert, beverages) full bellies and a box of leftovers.
