One staffer taking carry out orders and maybe waiting on tables too. Take Away orders at the front counter.
One guy seated at a booth on the phone and two ladies with their suitcase at another booth. Other than the 3 people, place was empty.
Ordered carry out. crushed lentil bowl, chicken kafta, two sides: small hummus, small baba ghanouj, large fattoush salad with no pita. $38.13
Food takes about 15 minutes to be ready.
Drove all the way back to the office.
My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered.
My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It’s good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine.
I am quite disappointed the order is not right!
The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch?
It’s too inconvenient to drive all the way back.
Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place.
The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world?
My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don’t eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.

We’ve tried their chicken fattoush salad and chicken shawarma wraps and smoothies. We also ordered the kids grilled chicken and fries meal and the chicken is A1 delicious soft and seasoned perfect… All of their food is very authentic and delicious with great portion sizes. It will definitely be our new go to spot for great Mediterranean food.

Unassuming spot on John R. The interior isn’t going to impress you but the food certainly will. The toum is excellent. Crushed lentil soup is some of the best I’ve tasted. Portions are quite generous, as you might expect from Middle Eastern restaurants around metro Detroit. The platter for 2 could easily serve 3-4.

First time I called and requested a large platter of beef and chicken for meal prep. Felt like I was asking the world of them they were confused and it took so long to get the order completed, not friendly at all. Came to $75 for a medium sized platter and the chicken was so fatty and not great. Beef was mediocre. Decided to give them another chance and just ordered the beef. Again, they were so confused I just wanted to order a platter of beef for meal prepping. This time the quality of beef was OK, not great. Again, not cheap for $75 for a medium-sized platter. Just ordered from them for a 3rd and final time. The beef was absolutely foul tasting, full of fat and not even edible. It made me and my wife sick we were vomiting for 2 days. I called 4 days later and complained that this warranted a refund or replacement, that I have done this 3 times and the quality and taste were awful. The person on the phone was rude and brushed it off without any apology or proper customer service, said he’d call the owner and put me on hold. Came back on the phone and blamed me saying it’s 4 days later and that the beef is fine. I informed him it’s a platter that normally lasted me a week, and I noticed the taste immediately but didn’t have time to call straight away as we were sick from the food. He told me they will not be providing a refund or replacement and had ZERO empathy or understanding. I told him it’s not even edible and that I will give the owner a chance to contact me before I leave a review. Was never contacted still waiting on them to make this right. Very rude customer service, subpar food, and the location is very dirty and run down. I am very familiar with Mediterranean cuisine; avoid this place there are MANY other places to go that are better quality and more affordable. They lost what could of been a reoccurring loyal customer and someone who would of promoted this business to others in the city.

I’ve been to other locations and this one is subpar. I ordered the chicken kebab. In person waited 15 minutes
Food was great tasting but it was cold and cooked obviously, an hour before My guess I went home and had to heat it all up and it was good but again, why didn’t they do that??
They didn’t even throw it on the grill lol o warm it up again?
. For a $20 meal I would expect it to be made fresh per order
Will not be back.
Not because it was bad because I’m not paying $20 for unheated food. This was the Hazel Park location.
I walked in the door, ordered the food and they just gave me premade stuff they had on hand I’ll stick with Bucharest in any day. All their stuff is hot made to order.

I wouldn’t dine in, it’s kind of dumpy and drab – and freezing!
However, the food is good, especially the chicken shawarma plate and the creamed chicken shawarma sandwich. Hummus was decent too. The baba ghanoush was too lemony for me. Fries are amazing!
