We were driving have from Santa Fe to Fort Collins and stopped here for a late lunch. I looked at reviews before we stopped because you never know about Cafe’s right off the interstate and they got great reviews. I’m so glad we stopped because they were a very friendly welcoming place with such delicious food! It’s cowboy cozy cute inside with the owner cooking and serving up her homemade food.
We were glad it was a Tuesday because it was their homemade green Chile day and my hubby and I ordered the 2 enchilada plate. We got 1 beef and 1 chicken. The green Chile was so delicious that I bought some to go the beef & chicken were both done really well. You got a generous portion of Spanish rice and refried beans, both so good! They sprinkled it with cheese, shredded lettuce and tomato.
They had super quick service and affordable prices. We will stop here again on a road trip.
When we got back to Fort Collins, my hubby was bringing in all of our things and accidentally tossed out my yummy green Chile. It was in a soda cup that we got ice water in and he just forgot. I was so mad because it was so dang good and I wanted it again, so we will definitely be back.
Thank you so much!

We love stopping at Zayra’s for a home cooked breakfast before making our trek back to Texas from New Mexico. It’s always fresh food, friendly service, very reasonable prices, clean bathrooms. We’ll be back!

A cute little cafe in the middle of nowhere. The patty melt was phenomenal. The pico was so fresh I thought I made it myself. The tomatillo salsa was delicious. A little pricey but everything is these days so not bad for having to bring the ingredients this far out. A texas serving of mustard on the burger which my daughter loved. The fries were also very good. My son loved the buffalo wings and my husband said they were even good without the sauce.

We only went to Zayra’s because The Depot was closed, and boy was that good luck! My Steak Tacos were delicious; even the rice and beans were unusually good. My wife’s Chicken Quesadillas were also much enjoyed. If you’re on the fence about whether to go here – just go!

Stopped in for lunch on our recent road trip. The staff and other patrons were so friendly, the western decor is tasteful and fits the location well. The burgers and hotdogs were delicious. The fries were crispy and tasted awesome.

This was the best bargain on a recent trip we made to Texas. We had the breakfast burrito, and It was as good or better than most I’ve had. It was spicy like a northern New Mexico burrito should be. I would definitely make a point to stop there again when passing through. As we were pulling a long trailer, it was great that they have a parking lot big enough for a semi. Easy interstate access.
