Eaten here twice in that last 5 years. Quickly remembered why after the second and most recent time. Order was wrong. Payed for a meal on the mobile app and didn’t get fries. More than $10 for 3 shrimpy pieces of hardly done chiken and a piece of bread. Staff was nice enough. At least.

I needed a quick, but healthy, meal between jobs so I popped in to Zaxby’s for a chicken salad. I went through the drive thru and ordered the House Zalad with grilled chicken and citrus vinaigrette dressing. The drive thru moved quickly, and the friendliest cashier greeted me at the window. I paid, received my Zalad, and was quickly on my way.
The Zalad salad was delicious and fresh. And, a healthy option if you don’t drown it in dressing. I only used one of the two provided packets, and only ate 1 of the toast triangles, and was satisfied for the rest of the day.

I wish there was something positive that I could write about this place.
Let me say, I have never had any issue with any Zaxby’s I have ever visited, however; if we weren’t absolutely hungry and had spent $30 (for really poorly made and undercooked food), we would have walked away–immediately.
Our visit was around 1pm on a Saturday. They were not very busy. We placed our order, and found a table that had the least amount of food and dirt on it (I got napkins and some soap from the restroom and cleaned our table). When we got our food, IT WAS ON A FILTHY TRAY!! The tray had chunks of food from previous orders all over it!! I took it up to the counter and told them that this was unacceptable. One person smirk/giggled and rolled their eyes, the other shrugged their shoulders and uttered that it wasn’t their problem!!!!!!!!!
And the list of problems goes on:
*5 of 10 chicken strips were cold inside and undercooked (real safe)
*The soda/napkin area was gross, dirty, and had bugs flying and landing all over the drying sweet tea and soda
*We had to practically beg for the sauces we paid for and were still shorted two of them
To be fair, I have sent a couple of emails about these problems to their contact addresses and asked for return calls so I could inform management about this in lieu of just blasting this place. I have not been contacted by anyone at all (it has been 10 days). This is actually a safety issue in top of an extremely terrible customer service issue.
If they can’t follow up on a serious set of problems like this, it speaks loudly about how little they care about the customers.
I see how they have earned their reputation in this city as being the “Garbage Zaxby’s “

Some of us went out to lunch and ended up at Zaxby’s. I’ve only been one several years ago.
I got a four piece chicken finger meal with fries, slaw and Texas toast.
Everything was fine. The fries were the best part.

My husband and I went through the drive through placed our order once we came to the window we received the wrong order. They exchanged our order and gave us the wrong order again. We had to go on with our receipt for the manager Harmony to tell us that she will give us lemon pepper rub to put on tenders that we didn’t order. We ordered two lemon pepper meals. She also charged us extra for drinks for no reason. We decided to get our money back then she decides to give us half cash back from our order. The manager was the rudest manager I have ever experienced in the customer service business please do not go to the location on Fern Valley and Preston Highway in Louisville Kentucky.
