Never have I ever been to a Zaxby’s and had to wait 30+ minutes for wings. We were the 2nd car to go through the drive thru after they opened on a Tuesday. First car was asked to pull up for them to bring the order out. We proceeded to the window to be asked to do the same. 15 minutes in, the first car received their food. We continued to wait about 5 more minutes then decided to pull back around through the drive through as orders began to flow seamlessly from the window. Told the young lady at the first window that we had been waiting out front for our order (2 meals with wings and a kids chicken tender meal) and it had not been walked out yet. She checked with someone, don’t know who, but she them reported…they were just cooking the wings and it would take another 20 minutes. We proceeded to pull to the next window and the cashier asked us to again pull up. After refusing, we waited about 10 minutes before walking in to get the money back. After about 10+ minutes of being on the inside the manager finally said, the food is ready now. Not, my apologies for the wait…accepting responsibility for the huge inconvenience…nothing! To say the least, even if you’re passing through Magee, MS…keep moving, because this Zaxby’s ain’t it according to our experience and reading the reviews of others.

This place always gives me and my family issues every time we try to eat here. Don’t order egg rolls, they don’t even have them even though they are on the app. One of the drive thrus was blocked by a cone, and you can’t see it until you get up to it so you either have to back up around the cars or go around the building and come back up. The staff are clueless and act like it’s their first day at life. The food tastes like concession stand food, it’s not that great.

The food taste quality is still fair, although you have to ask for extra ranch to get this amount. The last few times the actual service is starting to fall off. They forgot our fried pickles last time. Now they’re getting to where they don’t cut up the bacon or chicken strips for the loaded fries, not to mention where is the cheese? Hopefully they can address these issues soon! Btw still haven’t got my fried pickles lol

It was Sunday at 12:15pm. The dining area was mostly full. We placed our order of 2 meals. And then we waited. We waited 40 minutes before going to the counter and begging them to fill out order. Everyone else in the lobby was waiting 30 – 45 minutes to get their orders as well. Please get some new management up in there!

Placed a mobile order on 3/9/25 for two 5 pc traditional combos and a cob salad. Picked up the order and made it home… fries where OLD AS HECK! So I called the restaurant to let them know that I was bringing it back and that I would like my order made fresh. Waited maybe 10-15 mins for my order, made it home again and wings were tough and lukewarm and fries were STILL disgusting! Fresh does not mean reheating the wings… I will not be back to this location. I love Zaxbys but the food at this location was terrible! Wasted $30+ on that BS! The best thing about my order was my sprite!

Stopped by this location on a roadtrip. Had to wait 15 minutes for a 6 tender plate (they were not busy) and had to repeat my order at every window. Got down the road to realize they still only gave me 4 tenders and no utensils to eat the coleslaw. Love Zaxbys but don’t recommend this location

Employe working the front was extremely rude . It was a online order waited 45 minutes while Employees stood around extremely slow customers were walking out. Please make service faster.

Me and a friend went out to get some food here, since it’s a new location, and we wanted to see how it was. We enter the building, almost immediately greeted with kindness! The atmosphere was perfect, except the plain sound of a regular fast food location, could use some music.
Food:
We order our food and had it done around 12 minutes afterwards of ordering, and it was a 10/10! Hot and ready, but here come why its not a 5 star food rating, the food had a bit of a metal taste to it, like as in melted/ and or shaved metal.
Service:
Amazing employees! We had a great conversation Like actual human beings while they were waiting for other customers!
