By far the worst Zaxby’s in Dothan. My chicken sandwich was ice cold, and the breading was falling off the filet. While dining in, I heard what sounded like a manager yelling and screaming at an employee. When I looked over, it was an older woman cussing at the employee over something about standing around instead of cleaning. Keep in mind, this store had just opened and there were no customers inside except me and one other person.
After she finished yelling, I went up to complain about my ice-cold sandwich. The manager, Tori, greeted me with clear disrespect, like she didn’t want to be there. I explained the issue, and she immediately became defensive, saying that because I waited six minutes to say something, that’s why the sandwich was cold. When I mentioned that I waited because she was busy yelling at an employee, she became defensive again and told me she couldn’t help me or refund me.
I ended up throwing the sandwich away because it was cold as a rock and left. I won’t be coming back. The main takeaway is that the manager, Tori, completely ruined the experience with her poor customer service.

They gave me the wrong drink (orange instead of sweet tea). They rang me up for the wrong thing and had to get a manager to approve a refund and then charged me for the more expensive item. And then they were out of ranch.

I love Zaxbys but especially this location. The food is always hot and fresh! The staff is very friendly and courteous. I eat here atleast 2x a week and love the cookies!!! You won’t be disappointed at this location!

Normally I wouldn’t make a review but I felt like the lady at the counter was a little nasty towards me. We went through the drive-thru, ordered what we wanted and everything was great! I looked in the bag and I realized we didn’t have some zaxby sauce so I politely went inside and asked to have some, I accidentally brought in a cvs receipt inside instead and apologized and told her that I could bring the actual receipt inside to show her. I was met with coldness and interrogation on when I ordered my food, what I got, and this young lady ultimately decided to cut me off mid sentence and demanded to know how much I “just need” while I was just trying to explain everything to her. Didn’t appreciate the attitude and the unwelcoming atmosphere and will not be coming back unfortunately.

i found a nose ring in my food. if the employee who lost it is reading this…stop using straight nose rings clearly they don’t stay in your nose. that’s gross and unprofessional. if it won’t stay in your nose don’t wear it to work!

Had a terrible experience at this location. I didn’t learn any names but the employee at the till was generally cold and didn’t seem very passionate. That wouldn’t inspire me to write a review, I’ve despised my customer service jobs and can sympathize. No, what upset me was when I went to fill my drink at the self service area, I pulled down on the tea spigot and the whole piece came off of the tea container. Before I could react and move out of the way my pants were soaked with sticky sweet tea. The spout wasn’t screwed on whatsoever. I’m not Hercules, I know my strength and at most that was a light tug. To get the tea to come out you need to pull toward you. Whatever, accidents happen, I was already assuming the person at the register was new. The 1 star is for IGNORING me when I ask for help. They were handling a transaction, but I think most people would recognize that regular service can and should be put on hold when there is a situation that progressively gets worse without intervention. I never got that help I needed from the staff. It was an unrelated customer that helped me out. He plugged the hole while I asked for help, and he reattached the faucet when the employees failed to. Best of all wishes to that man, I hope above hope you are well, you made that incident so much easier to recover from. Won’t be dining inside this location again. Ate my food sad and soaked. Food itself is wonderful, and atmosphere is fair. Nothing spectacular but personally I think a lot of the vibe that a restaurant has is the personality of the staff, which doesn’t suit fast food well. Still my favorite food to eat, but wow the genuine lack of attention or care from that employee made that such a terrible experience. I understand that the place will likely get better as that particular person gets better at the job or goes to work somewhere else entirely. Bathroom was clean, good job on that. Again food is excellent my favorite item is the Great 8 Boneless Wing Meal. I had been putting off making this review but if necessary I have a picture of the receipt. Didn’t take photos of the lake of tea or my soaked jeans, I hope you understand that I wasn’t looking to make memories at that moment I just wanted to leave and get dry pants on.

the one near flower so awful it made them attractive. I slipped up and went to the one on main and everything was garbage fries under cooked toast hard like cardboard and they left out my coleslaw..06/29/22@ around 7ish. 02/27 They stopped putting the coleslaw in a separate container so now cole slaw is everywhere and on everything in the plate, this is on Oates this is the second time they served me a plate of slop, bread wet chicken wet fries wet it’s a nightmare.I love Zaxby but this was my last plate from them and the chicken was cold and the fries.

Kind of an odd zaxby’s, service was a bit slow and everything was tiny. The fries were small, the chicken breast was small, and you actually had to push the ice button twice. Good flavor just small.
