I visited Zaxby’s recently and overall had a decent experience. The restaurant was very clean, including the restroom, which smelled fresh and was well-maintained — that’s always a plus!
The atmosphere was nice, and the service was okay, not the fastest but friendly enough. The prices were fair, nothing too expensive.
As for the food, it was a mix of hits and misses. The chicken tenders were fresh and tasty, definitely the best thing on the menu. The wings, however, didn’t feel fresh — they seemed like they’d been sitting a while, and I wouldn’t order them again. The French fries were good, but the portion size was really small. The signature sandwich was a bit of a letdown — just a few pieces of pickle and the chicken itself didn’t have much flavor.

This isn’t edible. Both the sandwiches we got were drowning in ranch and the bread was soggy and falling apart. One was also missing chicken. I understand it was a buffalo ranch sandwich, but this was just disgusting.

I just have to give a shout-out to Zaxby’s for the outstanding service at the drive-thru. Let’s be real—at most fast-food places, you’re lucky to get a quick “hello.” You place your order, there’s no read-back to make sure it’s right, no thank you… just “pull ahead for your total.”

Here, they repeat your order, ask if there’s anything else you’d like, even offer an upsell, and actually check if you need sauces or extras. They give you your total, thank you, and then ask you to pull around. When you get to the window, you’re greeted with a friendly smile and a genuine hello—and if they’re not completely swamped, you might even get a sweet comment like “I love your nail polish.” That kind of thing goes a long way.
And the food? Always good. Always hot. And the order is always correct.
The girls at the window are usually the same, so here’s a big shout-out to Paulette, Barbie, and Mackenzie—and I believe Erin is the cook who keeps everything hot and ready to go. (And if I butchered any names, I’m so sorry!)

The food has gotten much worse at Zaxby’s, and the menu has shrunk significantly. The workers are barely present at the counter, and a sign said that Zaxby’s no longer brings food out to the table – “for a better experience” (?!). This location at least didn’t have any condiments or utensils out for the customers, which makes me wonder if it’s due to theft at this location.

Our daughter really wanted chicken so we stopped in to grab a quick bite. The food was fine until we looked over and saw the roach (there were 2, one on the wall and one on the floor at the counter). Location is just not clean and we won’t be returning to this one.

The staff worked together to get through the rush and were attentive to every customer. Eric has a great personality and checked to make sure every customer was satisfied. Give that man a raise! I don’t sit in to eat fast food often and this was the most pleasant experience I’ve had doing so. Eric went above and beyond. His smile was contagious.

We came in with a very large group, and Zaxby’s went above and beyond to accommodate us. The staff was incredibly patient, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent—as always—but the service truly stood out. Manager Wade personally came out to check on us and make sure everything was served properly and to our satisfaction. That kind of care and attention really made a difference. Highly recommend this location for both the food and the top-notch service!
