This zaxbys use to be one of the best, I just don’t know what went wrong with the location but today will be the last time I ever visit.
We ordered wings and things and wings with fries, the lady said that they didn’t have enough wings to complete the wings with fries meal as there is only 4 wings left. I told her she can just add a boneless to it. Well I was surprised to see what was in the crate the chicken didn’t even look like a fully developed wing. If things couldn’t be worse I found a strand of hair in my food. I am disgusted. Threw the whole meal away.
I’m sorry to leave a review as such. But inspect your food before you eat and drive off.

Food is totally delicious, not crowded at all, service is typically of a reasonable speed and quality in drive thru.
They do not have milkshakes like other zaxbys, at least in their online menu, but still a good amount of other options including dessert
Getting out onto the main road can be challenging due to traffic during rush hour.
It’s easy to get here from el car wash, just drive past the abandoned building and coffee shop and zaxbys is right at the end; no need to get back on uni blvd.
Overall, a great place to get chicken tender products!

Worst experience ever. My family visited this location today 2/18/2026 and we ordered our food via the drive thru. My mom is a diabetic and her numbers were dropping, so she needed to eat something. We placed our order and was told to pull around because our food wasn’t ready yet. When we did receive our food, we drove off thinking the food was fresh and hot since we had to wait. NOT! The chicken was lukewarm and the french fries were cold. My mom called the restaurant while on the road and spoke with a manager (who was very rude and unprofessional). She lied and said we did not visit that location and that it must have been a different one. We are not from the area so we used GPS to find this restaurant, so my brother opened the Google Maps app and pulled up the history and this was the location we visited. I’ve eaten at other Zaxby’s before and for the most part, I’ve received good service and good food. But this location is a joke. If this was my first time visiting a Zaxby’s, it would have been my last. Very disappointed

They made me pull up to the double doors despite the fact that I had placed a mobile order with only one item. They told me this at the drive through speaker by the way, and there was only one car behind me, yet they wanna act like I’m a huge burden on their time. My nibbler was cold and I saw other people be their food.

the manger here us absolutely atrocious. i am not one to leave reviews on peoples service when it’s negative to keep them from receiving repercussions. but this lady was awful. she was rude, vulgar and cannot control a team of people. we waiting 45 minutes for two meals. which if she was kinder wouldn’t have been as much as a issue but she was awful. zaxbys used to be the best place for chicken. now we get soggy bread and cold soggy chicken.

Completely ridiculous!!! So after going to this ‘establishment’ I ordered my food and extra sauce after getting home I realized not only was there not extra sauce there was no sauce whatsoever!! Ordered about 15 minutes before making this review. Came through the drive thru and ordered the chicken fajita quesadillas, wait about 8-10 minutes for the food. Arrive at my hotel room excited to try it, and it’s the chicken bacon ranch which I did NOT order, nor want. I understand also the this is a franchise location as well, and that the prices are usually higher here or raised to make up for the loss of business lately(an employee actually told me this). I can now understand why the location has slowed down business wise, if an order so simple is not done correctly. Please get back to the basics and stop worrying about your bottom line so much, and business will come back. Thanks!

I’ve never been to a Zaxby’s, though I’m not at all inclined to return. The service was good, and I take no issue with the employees or how things were handled.
What I DO take issue with is the price point of the product here. I get chicken tender places aren’t always the best value, however 3 skimpy tenders, a tiny bit of fries and a so-so piece of toast for nearly $11 was pretty dang disappointing. For a similar price I could get this exact thing of better quality with a local chain, hell even Saucy by KFC up the road I felt did a better job here.
Maybe this is indicative of the whole chain, maybe not, but to say I want to return would be an outright lie.

The food was delicious. Azaria offered suggestions when I asked and Jeffery had great customer care. It was our first time here. We will be coming back. Our triplets suggested Zaxby’s based on the commercials.
On our second visit we had Sam at the counter. She was very sweet and her suggestion of the fajita quesadillas was spot on delicious. Great food. And Azaria remembered our crew. She came out and said hi, too.

Zaxbys wings have gone downhill. Not sure if this was particular to just this location but the wings were small and hard. Tenders were good but in my order they forgot the zax sauce. With so many other chicken restaurants out there now it’s hard to justify going back to Zaxby’s at all at this point.
