Just average. The chicken fingers were flavored well although slightly over cooked. We asked for our French fries extra crispy and they were still white (as in not fried much at all — see picture). Note: we were prepared to wait for frying time. It was good enough for our road trip but would NOT waste $10.99 a person to eat there if I was expecting a meal.

I ordered the plain chicken sandwich it was to salty to eat. I asked for another one, they were very accommodating and made me another one, again waaay to salty to eat. I got the pink lemonade from the machine, tastes like plastic.
My husband got the chicken fingers. Too salty to eat. He also got a root beer from the machine. It didn’t taste like root beer. It tasted like seltzer. He dumped that and tried a Sprite, again, seltzer tasted prevailed.
I Think this will be the last time we eat at this Zaxbys.

The rudest person at the counter. I travel for nursing work and I happen to be staying in the hotel next to it. Never will I go back in there. Because of their customer service. Some white kid at the front I asked a question about how the veggie rolls were made if they were handmade or frozen he looked at me like I was crazy and shrugged his shoulders and mumbled he didn’t know. I said well I’m asking for allergy reasons I figured if they handmade them I can figure out what was in it. He said rudely that he doesn’t work in the back he works in the front. talk to me like a piece of garbage. Just stared at me like he couldn’t have been more bothered. This place isn’t cheap I spent $35 on some pickles and some cheese if I’m going to pay that kind of money for some cheap food they could at least smile and answer your questions and not act like you’re a bother. And if you say anything and complain then you’re the problem. But I decided to put this post up hoping management would see it and no one else had to be treated like that. It’s unbelievable that you go in somewhere for service and you’re just a bother to them.

Ordered a few times from here, and about 40% of the time it’s correct. Ordered the Nibbler meal and asked to substitute the Zax sauce for ranch, only 1 time have I gotten it the way I asked, most of the time they’ll still put the zax sauce on it. Today I ordered and they just flat out didn’t put any sauce on them at all. The fries today were also old and stale.

We love this Zaxby’s! It’s the best one we have been to! My ONLY complaint is the restaurant has been so hot within these last few days. It’s been hard to actually enjoy our meal. Otherwise, great food & great customer service! The Defuniak Springs location should take notes on the food and service Crestview provides!

They got some really good chicken tenders and fried mushrooms. Onion rings r pretty good as well. The chicken, as well as the other fried sides too actually, sometimes is not as crispy as you would expect or want from a fried chicken joint. But places have their off days I guess so I’m not gonna hold that against them. My sister mentioned the Cole slaw being bland. I didn’t try it myself but she loves Cole slaw so I’ll take her word on it. The chicken looked great though. The fries didn’t even really look visually crispy though I’m afraid. Maybe a bigger vent hole on the the take out trays will help avoid this from happening with food getting soggy and losing its crisp.

This Zaxby was not busy when I dined in. They served the food extremely fast, but no food quality was lacking. The restroom was very clean as was the dining area. Their service was spot on without any errors. My only critique is that the toast had a strange taste to it, but that is a minor issue.
