I’m writing this review only to give the manger her deserved credit for how she handled my situation. I didn’t catch her name because she was super busy at the moment getting her store in order.

Cashier had taken my order wrong and I was extremely frustrated upon reaching home because I live 7 miles away from the establishment.

Upon returning, I explained to the manager what had happened and what I felt she could do to satisfy me and make me whole for my inconvenience. Without an utter of rebuttal she honored my request and made it herself to ensure maximum accuracy.

I understand people make mistakes and especially if they are new employees and to her credit I could tell she had new employees in the store and looked like they had caught an unexpected rush.

I Just want her to know that I appreciate how she handled herself under pressure and accommodated my request with a professional attitude and changed the paradigm of her employees mistake.

With all due respect, She was Maybe 5’1, light skin and was wearing a red hat with black glasses.

Protect her at all cost, We need people like this in this fast paced industry.

Went there this evening and was welcomed several times over entering the door. Was trying to figure out what to order and was asked a few times by passing employees if I was ready to order. All the employees worked like a well oiled machine. The teamwork was very noticeably efficient and they didn’t huff and puff to help. Would highly recommended anyone to go to this super friendly atmosphere restaurant. Whatever you are doing at this restaurant please keep it up!

Came to zaxbys 10-15-25 an hour and a half before close and was told there where only 4 boneless wings, then i was told they only had traditional and that they shut there fryer down and couldnt cook anymore. Then they said they could make it fresh and i would have to wait which was fine. I also asked for a milkshake and was told it would take 20 minutes because there machine was off. I then go to the window and they make the shake in under a minute. Okay, cool. I get home to eat my food and my chicken is raw. Seems like the nightshift people dont want to work and rush to close the store and give customers salmonella. I asked for a dr pepper, sweet tea, and lemonade and only recieved 2 of my 3 drinks so i guess they like stealing your money as well. If i could give 0 stars to this location i would!

Ordered pick up. Waited over 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. checked to make sure there was the right amount of plates but didn’t examine. No salad dressing at all for two salads and barely any lettuce at all in the salads. Very frustrating when you spend over $40 and get nothing.

**Update- The past few visits to this Zaxbys has been overall good, with no major issues. Upgrading to 4 stars**
Been to this particular Zaxby’s quite a few times, because it is very close to where I reside. Service and food are a gamble at best. Sometimes you can ride thru here and have a reasonable wait time, even with a long line of car’s and the food is good and fresh. Other time’s you can come thru and have a short line of car’s and wait 30 minutes in line, only to receive what seems like old chewy cold food. When it’s good, it’s good and when it’s bad, it’s very bad. I have a feeling that it has to do with what manager and employees are on duty at that particular time.
My family and I came by here one afternoon. I ordered 4 meals on my phone with mobile order. When we arrived,the drive thru line was wrapped around the building, so I figured I would go inside, since it had been roughly 15 minutes since I placed my order and it should be ready. Upon going inside and speaking to the cashier, I was told it would be ready in just a few minutes, so I sat inside and waited.
47 minutes later I received my food. Yes, 47 minutes later. I was obviously frustrated and spoke with numerous employees several different times over the course of 47 minutes, checking on my order. Always the same answer “It should be ready in just a minute”. In the meantime, my oldest son, who did not place his order online, had went thru the drive thru, drove back home and ate his meal. Definitely a terrible experience.

Most recently, we decided to pick up dinner from here tonight (02/17/2023). I once again placed a mobile order. Sat in line at the drive thru and after roughly a 15 minute wait, I received my food. All the food was cold and dry. We were not provided with any of the sauces that we ordered and our chicken that was supposed to be tossed in sweet and spicy sauce was just dry rubbery chicken. I order the fried shrimp meal and don’t think I have ever had anything so dry and chewy.
Have to say, I think that for now on, we will just make the extra 25 minute drive to Augusta if we want Zaxby’s. I will give this location another try in a few Weeks to see if anything has improved and update my review if deemed necessary.

I never leave reviews for places but this was absolutely ridiculous. I want to start by saying that I know a place can get really busy and take longer than expected or even be unable to bring an order out when it’s supposed to because they are just so busy but that’s not what happened here. I ordered food for my family before I left work and it was set to be ready for CURBSIDE pickup at 6:30, I left work and went to the grocery store to grab a few things and made it to Zaxby’s just a few minutes after 6:30, I check in and put my spot number, 10 minutes later still no food. I see a woman in another curbside pickup spot walking back to her car with her food so I decided to just go in and get it since luckily it wasn’t just me and my 3 kids but my mom was with us too so she could sit with the kids. When I walked in my food was sitting in a cart for mobile pickup orders so I asked the guy if I could just grab it since it was mine and he said yeah all that’s yours you can just take it. I had to ask for a drink carrier to be able to carry it all out. When I open the food we have no sauce and my sons kids meal just had a cold grilled cheese and soggy fries. My sandwich was barely put together just thrown in the box. They didn’t label the drinks so we had to just taste each one to figure out who’s was who’s which isn’t a huge deal but along with everything else it’s annoying! I paid $30 for cold food and no sauce for any of us. I just really hate it because we loved Zaxby’s for years and it’s just going down hill.

While the food was good (hence the 2 stars) the service is terrible. 13-15 minute wait times on salads and unfriendly service. When the trainers and bosses were here this place was kicking it, but now they have settled in it’s gotten worse.
