This is the worst restaurant in Athens. Worst service I have ever experienced. Came to pick up a mobile order and was told to pull around and they’d bring it out. More than 20 minutes later and no one came out. Could see them taking other orders and such and there was a bag sitting on the counter for maybe 15 of those minutes. Walked in to ask about my order. The boy said they were still working on it. Another ten minutes go by. I asked again and he didnt know. I look at the bag that’s been sitting in front of him for 30 minutes at this point and tell him it has my name on it. He looks and says ya I guess that’s it and finally gives it to me. Staff was clueless about what was going on. Saw three other people having mobile order issues. Took 45 minutes total to get my food and I had to find it myself. They told every single drive thru customer that came through while I was there to pull around. I never saw them give anyone their food. They were also rude to everyone who came to ask about their orders. Certainly not ‘fast’ food. Don’t go here. It’s a two hour ordeal and you have to beg for your food.

I try to be forgiving with fast food places but this location is not good. I only come once every few months as a cheat day and everytime is somehow a bad experience. They’re slow and constantly out of things, considering I come so infrequently it’s probably a management problem and not the regular employees but save yourself the frustration and go to one on the other side of town. Just sat in the drive through for over 20 minutes

Two weeks ago, i placed an order at 11:00 am for a 1:00 pickup for $80 worth of food. App indicated the food was being bagged at 1:00. The app lied. The food was not given to us until 1:40. They did not even try to get our order ready on time. Meanwhile, we had guests waiting. Incredibly bad service and somehow the food wasn’t even warm after the 5 minute drive home. I submitted feedback via customer service link and got no reply. Avoid this location, and probably all of them, tbh.

This restaurant was set to close at 10:30 PM. I arrived at 10:02. The drive thru had a few cars when I arrived so I thought I would be in and out in under ten minutes. I did not leave the drive thru until 11:05. 63 minutes sitting in a drive thru line, wasting gas and my time. By the time I got my drink, the ice was melted. By the time I got my food, it was cold. I thought the restaurant may be understaffed, but I sat waiting for my food and watched 5 employees bumbling about doing everything but preparing and bringing out my meal. I have had numerous bad experiences at this zaxbys location but this one takes the cake. New management, new workers, close the whole place down. I’m not sure which of these options would be best but something needs to change. I will not be coming back to this poor excuse of an establishment.

This was probably one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. The drive thru took 30 minutes which is fine they were busy. But they didn’t give us the right order so we had to go inside and I stood at the counter for 30 minutes and not a single person said anything to me and only spoke to the people around me. When someone finally acknowledged me, my food had been sitting there the whole time, it was cold and soggy. They also said at the drive thru that they were out of fries but people were still getting fries inside.

Giving 2 Stars because they fixed my order, but every time I ask for a GRILLED House Salad at this location, they always give me fried. They even forgot to give me a fork for my salad. I mean, I know this happens every once in a while, but the employees need to listen better when taking people’s orders.

The employees here simply don’t care. Super long wait times even when it’s not busy. Something always missing from my order. Today I got a signature sandwich and the chicken was literally rock solid like whoever cooked it actually thought it was ok to serve to people. Also they hardly ever put any sauce on the food like they’re supposed to. Just dry, burnt and the taste of regret. Employees at this location are incompetent and don’t care about the quality of the service or food. Don’t spend your money here, the location in hull is far superior.

this place is such a hit or miss. i was the only person there i asked for extra sauce during my order. because ik I will be charged extra. i buy 3 extra sauces. i get zero sauce. i ask to the sub the slaw with extra toast. no extra toast. and it’s so frustrating and sad because i love zaxs.
