The last few visits to this location and shorter have resulted in salads w spoiling lettuce but tonight I ordered 3 and every single one of them 90% of the lettuce was rotting. They all had lettuce w brown/black spots, and SLIME. Had to throw them all out a waste of $30.

Ryan is the best Zaxby’s employee that has ever worked for this restaurant. I have never received better service. If i ever come into this zaxby’s again and Ryan is not the man standing at the register im walking out. Someone please send me his schedule!

First off, one of our cups had a hole in the bottom so it leaked all in our car, second one of our sauce packs has a needle size hole in the top, and third we ordered 3 six piece chicken tenders one of them had 4, well if you could call that chicken it was mostly bread and stringy. Do better zaxbys! All of the low cost of $41.06

I finally tried Zaxby’s after seeing constant long lines and hearing the hype. An employee suggested the wings, which were okay—not bad.

The real issue was the shake. Since my original drink option wasn’t available close to closing time, I swapped it for a shake. It came in a regular drink cup and was only half full, the other half of the cup filled with mostly cream. That alone made the experience feel rushed and sloppy…

On top of that, my receipt showed prices a few dollars higher than what was posted on the menu, with no clear tax or explanation for the extra charges. For a first visit, this was disappointing and confusing. Attention to detail matters—especially when customers are paying MORE than full price.

Locations been going downhill as seen by previous comments , still just barely better than the west rome one but that is a super low bar since that one should have shut down yearss ago with how bad it is . Just go to chick fil a honestly its about the same price anymore ( hopefully we get a better substitution in this town soon and this chain can finally either be forced to turn it around or die off as it should have years ago , love their sauce though i guess) . Side note is that online orders take an incredible amount of time for the very low quality and the parking lot is abysmal

Only come here if you want attitude, food to be late, don’t get enough items, and cold food. Service was horrendous, got my food wrong, didn’t give me a refund and not to mention the attitude form literally everyone. I know the current state of the world sucks, but dang can yall at least ACT like you wanna work there. Never in my life have I EVER had to leave a comment on one of these but yall bring it out of me. Thanks for the headache!!!

I have been pretty shocked as to what has happened to Zaxby’s in Rome ( essentially both locations, but Turner McCall especially). I’ve now had three no so good interactions at the Turner McCall location. One, they got the order totally wrong. The second was a Curbside order and they didn’t bring out the order after over 20 minutes and I had to call their phone number to get someone to bring it out. That particular time, the manager blamed the problem on ” Well, that’s what happens when we hire teenagers”. You would think management would fix that problem immediately. Also, when I got home, I noticed my wife’s lettuce in her salad was wilted and slimy. Zaxby’s as a company, has always held it’s standard to superior service and quality above most fast food chains. I remember as a vendor to them, how well kept their food prep area was and always looked as clean as their first day opened. It’s obviously not the same standard anymore by the service and food quality. It makes me eager to bring a Rasin’ Canes to the Rome market.
So my third interaction was much the same as the second. Curbside order, sat for over twenty minutes, and no one would answer the phone. In fact, they picked up and immediately hung it up without answering. I walked in to the store and there was two young ladies standing around, one on her phone, not busy doing much of anything. One asked if she could take my order. I told her no, but I would like to receive my curbside order. She turned to look for it and rolled her eyes and then handed it to me. As I turned to walk back out the door, both girls started laughing. Don’t know what they found amusing but it certainly isn’t how they operate their responsibility at work. I plan to also bring this to the general manager and corporate offices attention as well.
This is a heads up warning to all. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. MANAGEMENT SEEMS UNCONCERNED WITH QUALITY AND SERVICE.

Can’t say one positive thing , food was extremely overpriced and I witnessed an employee touch and handle trash with bare hands . He then proceeded to touch customer food right after with no hand washing or gloves , after eating here I’ve been very sick with food poisoning and throwing up ever since . extremely disappointing as this was my first experience at zaxbys .
