0 seasoning on our soggy fries… and I asked and paid for extra sauces that they confirmed were in my bag and none of them were.

Also – bread is completely soggy with no butter or toast. It’s like microwaved bread. Like $15 per person for this is ridiculous…

Food was ok . Service was so-so. The new decor is horrible. I thought the outside was awful until i came in and saw how bad the interior is . This place would go great on the moon , there’s no atmosphere there either

Positive Aspects:

To begin with, I would like to highlight the quality of the food, which was excellent. The tea was fresh, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the salad was crisp and well-prepared.

Areas for Improvement:

However, there were several issues with the order that I believe need attention. First, while I understand some people may enjoy buffalo sauce on their salad, this was not an option I had requested, and the amount of sauce was excessive. It was impractical to remove such a large quantity from the salad. I even double-checked the receipt, as I was taken aback by this mistake.

Additionally, our order was incomplete: we were missing a medium Dr. Pepper and an order of fries. Fortunately, I noticed the missing drink and was able to address it before leaving, but unfortunately, I did not realize the fries were missing until later. This oversight left us with an insufficient number of straws—just one for the drink I had to correct on my own.

Finally, we had paid for an upgrade to a medium-sized drink, but instead received a small “kiddie” drink. While I understand that working in fast-paced environments can be challenging, the overall attention to detail and care put into fulfilling this order gave the impression of indifference and a lack of thoroughness.

Just picked up my mobile order. Thanks for not giving me my sauce or a fork. Also THANKS FOR THE DISGUSTING HAIR. Tried to call and get compensated but of course they didn’t answer. Lady at the window was rude on top of it all.

Zaxbys is usually quick and tasty! I would recommend drive thru only and check your order. I’ve placed a mobile order twice and wasn’t ready until 30-45 minutes after pick up time.

The customer service I received when I walked inside this establishment was awful. I went straight to the register, as there was no line, and the employee at the register completely ignored the fact that I was waiting to be served. Not only that, this same employee continued to leave from behind the register while scrolling on a cell phone, further ignoring my presence. There were also two other employees huddled around the register that the aforementioned employee had just abandoned. No one acknowledged my presence–not a “we’ll be right with you,” not even a hint of eye contact, or anything of the like. One of the two employees that were behind the counter finally decided to ask me what I’d like, but this was after a multitude of opportunities for someone to at least acknowledge that I was even in the building. I’d like to note that the first employee that I mentioned who was initially at the register just proceeded to hang around at the fountain soda machines (I had to reach around him for straws & condiments after receiving my food) while still scrolling on his phone as I was leaving with my order, only for him to THEN look up and finally glare at me as I was leaving the restaurant. This was one of the most irritating & awkward experiences I’ve had while waiting to be served from any establishment, thus the review. I couldn’t imagine stepping foot inside this restaurant any time soon with the way I was treated. I’ve eaten from this location plenty, but this was my 1st (and most likely last) time going inside if I ever decide to spend my hard-earned money here again. More attention should have also been paid to the giant puddle of liquid that I stepped in near the register/online ordering shelf. Note there was no wet floor sign there either and this puddle was huge. Service and atmosphere get an absolute zero.

Stopped to get dinner while waiting to charge our vehicle.

I rarely give a rating below a 4 or 5 Stars; and I have never given a rating below a 2 Star. I also rarely comment on poor service, because I realize most organizations aren’ fully staffed.

Reasons for poor rating.

1. Sign on the door “Cash Only”; no problem we had cash;
2. A rigged temporary soap dispenser in the men’s restroom;
3. When we get in line to order a customer said “I hope you aren’t in a hurry.” This didn’t bother us because we had some time;
4. I purchased a medium Coke, but 75% of the soda options in the dining room were out/unavailable, I had to ask them for a soda from the drive thru;
5. There were no straws in the dining area; so I had to request one from the drive thru;

Not done yet, I had to save the worst for last.

6. The reastaurant was filthy nasty. Trash on at least six vacant tables, trash cans over flowing, a blue rubber glove in the hallway to the restrooms; and a rubber glove by the trash can. Everything thing just appeared neglected for a very long time. My daughter even joked “it looks like a crime scene.”

Pros: The staff was friendly.

I’m not a big fan of Zaxby’s in the first place, and I know I will never visit this location again.

Absolutely horrible. I’ve already contacted the restaurant for a refund. Every piece of my food was tough, chewy, cold or all the above. I received a fraction of the cheddar bites I should have. Half of my cheddar bites were fresh, but the other half were tough and cold. I asked for my chicken tossed in buffalo. They were all cold and tough, and they barely added any sauce to it. The bread was so tough that I literally couldn’t pull it apart into pieces without significant effort. It was really gross. To top it off the fries were cold. Literally every bit of my meal was horrible. I just want my money back.

EDIT:
The manager has refused to send me a refund unless I drive all the way back to the store. I live 45 minutes away and have explained how difficult it would be to make that drive just for a $12 refund. I asked that she simply send a gift card for the $12 since I paid in cash and they refuse. I have seen other retailers do this before with no issues at all, but she refuses to budge. I just want my money back. I’m not asking for anything more than my $12 refund. I don’t understand why that’s such an outrageous task. I have had to send multiple emails to them just to receive one response, and the response is always “you’ll just have to come to the store”. This service is one of the worst I’ve ever seen.

EDIT 6 weeks later:
The restaurant commented below my review and told me to follow the attached link to discuss my experience. I already did this the first time (with no solution) but decided to try it again, given that they commented on my review. I will update when(if) I hear back.

EDIT 3 more weeks later:
A manager reached out to me and stated she was passing my info along to another manager on July 6th. It is now July 25th and I have yet to hear back.

I watched this place get pretty bad at one point. In the last year it has really turned around. My coworkers and I have been eating here for a long time and right now it is at its best. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good.

Late lunch (2:30 PM) so quick service and food was as ordered. This location is off I-75 exit 277 and has been here for roughly 20 years. Needs a refresh inside, but food and service were on par.
