My child loves this menu item, so we have ordered it at numerous Zaxby’s locations. However, our first experience at the Suwanee branch was incredibly disappointing.
The photo shows the meal exactly as it looked when we first opened the box. For $8.99, the value simply isn’t there. When I moved the chicken to the side, it barely looked like a single tender’s worth of meat. Beyond just the chicken, every single topping—the cheese, the bacon, and the sauce—was noticeably sparse. It felt like they were trying to save on ingredients rather than providing a proper meal.
As a franchise, there should be consistency in quality and quantity, but this location is failing to meet the standard. We were so happy to have a Zaxby’s near our new home, but now we feel very upset. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their portion control.

They ought to be ashamed. Every single “tender” in my meal was tiny, see the photo attached. All of them were about two inches long, the same size as the end of the fork. More of nuggets if you ask me. The tenders barely had any sauce despite the upcharge.
This location has been going downhill and I’d rather drive to another Zaxbys before eating here again.

Adventures Fun and Food
On Thursday night 12/04 I had had a large order for a party. The manager and staff fulfilled my order with no hesitation and my guests absolutely loved the food. The service at Zaxbys on Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd Suwanee Ga is excellent, professional and your always greeted with a welcoming smile. We ordered several zax packs a couple of bone in hot wings platters extra large coleslaw and egg rolls. The food was delicious and my party was terrific thank you Zaxbys !

Went thru the drive thru with no problem but didn’t get any sauce for my chicken fingers, still not a big problem except I had to get out and go inside. Then I told the cashier I didn’t get any cause. She then asked if I had a receipt and I explained i just came thru the drive thru and it should be on the computer if she wanted to check. She then said it would cost me to get one. Do you expect people eat without any sauce. This is not good customer service, it’s not service at all and I won’t be back….

Don’t bother asking to “go big” on your order. They won’t even give you the correct serving size of fries for your regular order and I guess go big means they add 2 fries. I drove home and opened the box and it was 18 fries. This is my closest Zaxbys and I have been coming here for years but lately the servings sizes have been very lackluster. $14-$15 for a wings and things that don’t even have the right portions. Drink was not even filled up all the way either. I get it’s only 80 cents to go big but at least give out the right portions

Buffalo Bleu salad is pretty good, sorry, I just can’t bring myself to say “zalad”… The menu is a little simple in my opinion, hence the 4 star rating. I would rather that they keep a simple menu and do it right, however. The decor is wood paneling and local sport-centric, with a splash of vintage advertisements. Every one that I have ever been in is above average clean, and the staff is usually young, but focused on their job. All in all, an above average experience, with quick and good service. The good is good for what it is, but the slice of chewy Texas toast with fake butter is the single downfall to the concept. If the replaced that with some yeast rolls with honey butter, it would be a grand slam, and I would seriously consider a 5 star rating.

I ordered the teriyaki boneless meal and he ordered the chicken fries. My food was cold and his order was lite on chicken. A cashier came to the counter and just stared at me for about 30 seconds and I stared back. Finally, he asked me what I wanted. The person responsible for redoing my order was on the phone the whole time trying to figure out why he found several torn-up pay checks.

I have been living in the area for over 20 yrs. Service is friendly but the food has gone down hill. Gave it another shot today and my food was lukewarm and fries not fresh. Not tasty at all and a waste of my $10. I’d rather wait for fresh food rather than quick, lukewarm food. Won’t be back.
