Food is USUALLY pretty good SERVICE is absolutely HORRIBLE. These people working the counters act like they could literally care less that WE are providing THEM with a job and MONEY ya know that thing we all need to survive. I can’t even ask a simple question of “excuse me do you know about how long the wait is” because the answer is always “umm I don’t know” or “umm it just like umm kinda depends” like I get it working fast food sucks BUT it’s MEANT to be a stepping stone temporary thing until you find your true calling and DOES NOT mean you should or can just be a rude uncaring employee, sucky job or not your getting PAID to provide a service and will go a lot further in life if you even just do the bare minimum and treat people with respect and dignity ESPECIALLY the people PAYING YOU

What started as a disaster turned into a great experience. I waited for my order for 15 min while watching customers who came in after me receive there order while I still waited. After asking for a refund the manger on duty ,Daryl got involved. He told the kitchen staff nothing come out before mine. He offered to give me my order for free which I refused. He handled the situation like the professional that he is. It is his reaction to this situation that will having g me coming back. Daryl should be recognized for how he handled this situation.

This is the worst fast food place in all of Wilmington. I feel like the inmates are running the asylum- and even they are failing. Orders are constantly wrong, they are lying about what you can be and nothing is made correctly. Today they told me they had a product in and between when I ordered at the drive through and got to the window to pay it was no longer available. They must be as horrible employers as employees because there is at least one employee outside on the phone crying each week as I drive by. They should do better!

January 5, 2026- stopped by for lunch. We had chicken finger plate and zax snack. Both had hot crispy fries and they were delicious. So happy this store accomodated us. Can’t get the store on Gordon Rd to cook that way. *********Ordered finger plate and they didn’t put the cole slaw in the dinner.

Went in an ordered the Kickin Chicken meal. The taste was outstanding. However, the Texas toast sandwich buns were lukewarm; expected them to be hot. Also, the interior of the dining room was dirty, with trash and food particles on the floor. The tables and seats also had food on them. Not once when I was eating that an employee came out to check the room.

The staff here are super friendly. I come here about once or twice per month and they’re always nice and my orders are always accurate. Please never take away the Asian Zensation salad, it’s one of the best salads available in the fast food industry. I recommend this Zaxby’s.

On 09/12/25 @ 3:30 pm Tyaisna was a sweetheart olny issue was she needs to talk louder i had to keep saying what did you say other issue was and it’s not just Zaxbys it’s every fast food restaurants the drive-thru and Uber Eats comes frist while the customers inside has to wait i waited 13 minutes for my order as I watched people pull up to the drive-thru got their order im still waiting

Let me start by saying service was exceptional. Very friendly attendant at drive through window. As far as the food the chicken tenders were hot and fresh as well as the fries. Now the bad- the Texas Toast was burnt black and the “serving” of coleslaw was literally about half a spoon full (not enough to even cover the bottom of the section of the to go tray it was in). If I would have had time to turn around I would have. The burnt toast was not fit to eat and I would have been embarrassed to call that dribble of coleslaw a serving.

Person taking order took the whole wrong order & I took my sandwich back to try to get the correct one & they gave me a cold unmelted piece of cheese and bacon in a container so I could make it myself. I said I would pay the difference of the sandwiches & that was just unacceptable to them.

Ordered the Big Zax Snax meal and only received 1 out of 3 tenders. I called the store and the manager was very quick to give me a comp meal as well as a coupon for another one. The team was very apologetic and quick.
