At open, store was dirty. Drinks spilled over refill station. Straws not stocked. Food was cold. Fingers were DRY. Ordered a quesadilla, so cold the shredded cheese didnt even try to melt. The tortilla looked out of the package. No heat anywhere. If I could guess, these were chicken fingers from last night. How? How is a store so bad only 45 minutes after opening? They JUST got to work. Ugh. Took this ish home and will cook it tomorrow, I guess. Made a second stop for Sheetz. Should’ve gone there in the first place. I would’ve saved 20 mins. Cant believe I had a craving for this ish and didnt even eat it. Now I remember why I stopped doing Zaxbys. The inconsistency for the cost is crazy. Spent $30 for fast food to sit in a fridge and tomorrow, I’ll have to “fix it up” and cook it myself.

For a much as you over pay for basic chicken it would be nice if they at least gave you the sauces. They can never put the sauces in the bag. Plus I have never gotten a milkshake from them where they didn’t knock the cherry of the top and look at me like I’m the idiot. Atleast at kfc you know what your supposed to be getting. Zaxbys is extremely non consistent and no longer worth the money you will pay for essentially some Tyson frozen chicken tenders

My favorite Zaxby’s from Raleigh to Durham for sure!! Have you seen their Christmas decorations?! BEST IN CARY!!! The staff and atmosphere have such a family feel. From the first time diner to the everyday ‘regulars’, you can feel your importance and appreciation as a customer. Highly recommend. Food is always fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and perfectly portioned!

Went in there 1/22/26 at 7:20 through the drive-through. They over charged me an extra meal. And told us they couldn’t refund bc they didn’t know how and had an attitude with us when they messed up. We kept the food since there was no refund. Then when I ask for ranch they wanted to charge me extra after messing up and not receiving any sauce. Then I had to drive back bc they didn’t give me my drink that I paid for and the young lady at the window. Had an attitude she just walked away without saying anything left me hanging mid way while I was talking. Extremely rude

I’d say this was the WORST Zaxbys I’ve been too. Customer service was horrible and cashier was rude. While in the drive-thru I was asking a question, and she slammed the windows and walked off. On top of that the food definitely wasn’t worth the price. I got maybe 10 fries some burnt and small tenders. Definitely wouldnt recommend this location.

The employees are always rude. they don’t listen to your order properly and then try to correct you on what you ordered and honestly the experience is always horrible every single time I come here. If you live near the area I recommend going to the Zaxby’s on Hillsboro Street they’re way better

Ive never been to a zaxbys so desperate, charging $0.25 per sauce. They dont even give you the obligatory one zack sauce. The service was also pretty slow for there only being 3 cars and the inside was closed.

I placed an online order for in-store pickup but they locked the doors (this was 6pm btw) and wouldn’t let me come inside to pick up my order, so I had to go to the drive through. They forgot my fork and due to the wait my food was lukewarm.

Their drive thru is terrible they simply never pay attention. First time they accused me of not paying after giving me my receipt. Then the last few times they forgot items out the meal and decide to give you whatever they want you to have not what you ordered. Put the phone down hire some serious people who put effort into their jobs.

The guy at the front seems like he has zero idea what he’s doing and is incredibly rude. He’s making gross faces when people dont come grab their food because he’s muttering under his breath when he calls them out. He acts like he doesn’t want to be here and needs to fix it. The lady that was running around up front was on it though, kudos to her. This was around 1 today.
