The entire staff here was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we walked in. Our food was great! We ordered the chicken tenders, toast, fries and slaw & everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant itself was super clean and the bathrooms were absolutely spotless, which I really appreciated.
The only downside was that the self-serve drink machine was out of order but the employees were quick to help with any drink refills from their counter, so it wasn’t a big issue. The sweet tea was bomb!Overall, a really positive experience!

Stopped by Zaxby’s in Chester, VA for the first time and ordered the Wings & Things meal — 5 wings, 3 chicken fingers, fries, and toast.
The wings were cooked perfectly crispy, but the lemon pepper had a little too much lemon for my taste. That’s more about my choice than their cooking. The chicken fingers, though, were excellent — definitely a 10/10. Fries were solid as well.
The restaurant was clean, and the staff was welcoming. I’ll be back, especially for those chicken fingers.

Went here after the disastrous wendies down the street and it was definitely an upgrade. The store was very well put together and had plenty of room for dine in. The food was good and the employee behind the counter was incredibly informative, I believe his name was Devion or something along those lines. Either way, good location, good food.

First time visiting Zaxbys. I ordered the chicken finger basket and sadly I can’t give this review 5 stars. The chicken fingers weren’t piping hot. They were kind of like lukewarm. The french fries were OK and seasoned pretty well. To my surprise, the coleslaw wasn’t bad at all now the toast on the other hand question mark. I’m not exactly sure why you get a slice of toast with your chicken tenders but my toast was chewy so I’m not sure what that was all about. I’m not sure if there’s a certain time a day that you should go to these fast food restaurants to get nice hot food but this is my honest review and I’m not exactly sure if I’ll return.

Went to Zaxbys last night around 7pm. Ended up getting wings and things like I always do the tenders were fine. Fries were fine. But my actual traditional wings were not good at all. They had barely any meat on them and they were dry and hard like they were old. Love this place though and it’s usually great. I will come back to try again

Sadly this place is in need of a fresh start. They can’t make the food to the Zaxbys standards. Their customer service isn’t to any standards accept their own. I don’t get why all these places have turned into this. Zaxbys your not to big to fail. Keep giving crap service with no standards and you’re gonna end up like Red Lobster, Shoneys and many more that have come and gone. Do your jobs, people out here spending their hard earned money and you’re giving bad, mediocre service. How is it that chick-fil-a can be so successful, polite, and great service and the rest of the fast food places out here can’t even figure out how to read a order board. What a joke. I will never eat here again. Black listed and I suggest everyone do the same until they can do some serious retraining.

My only reason for 3 stars is because the system was down this day and you could order but couldn’t pay. It took about 10 minutes for the system to come back up but they were rocking getting the orders knocked out when it came back up. I was also in the drive thru for 5 or so minutes without moving. I feel like someone should have come out to make people aware. Everyone was really nice though.

Went through drive thru to order food. Was there over 5mins & no one answered. Two vehicles ordered before me with no issues. Pulled forward to first window, no one was there. Went to second window and was told my order would not be taken. Even though no one answered the speaker or was at the first window. Today must be an off day for new management.

Fast, quick, accurate service. Located right off I-95. So good! The place is clean (inside and outside) and there’s plenty of parking. I would suggest putting a trash can outside so that people do not have to go inside to throw out trash. Additionally, check bathrooms more frequently.
