The dark skinned gentleman behind the counter today (Dec 29th 2025) at around 1pm was so very nice. You could tell he was a believer. If you are reading this, thank you so much for helping me decide on how much good I should have gotten for my parents and myself. The food was pretty good. We had a very bad experience with JESSICA NEAL at this location. We ordered 2 meals for dine in, when we recieved the food we realized we had recieved a basically empty sauce cup and deemed it was probably a fluke. We kindly asked JESSICA for a replacement in which she very rudely told us she was not willing to take it back. Another employee stepped in and stated that there were a few cups that didn’t get filled well. Jessica then became upset and took back the cup of sauce returning it to the sauce counter to give to another customer after formerly stating that she couldn’t. The new cup she gave us was still less than the normal serving we recieve at every other location. She had such a poor attitude that she refused to acknowledge us or anything we said afterwords. My wife asked her ketchup nicely scared to be a bother to this obviously upset employee and Jessica looked at her and completely ignored her and refused to acknowledge either of us. Another employee stepped in that was not at register and kindly took care of us apologizing for her poor attitude. We aren’t jerks and we weren’t rude to her in anyway but she was treating us and other employees disrespectfully and throwing her weight around with everybody in the building. Her fellow employees seemed to be just as upset about her uneccesarily rude attitude just as much as we were. We never leave reviews but management should know that this employee does not treat others or customers with respect in the workplace. 10/10 would not return to this location

Rant – Zaxby’s Chapin!
If I could leave “0” stars I would!
Returning from Columbia this Saturday @ 6:30 pm, I decided to stop at ZAXBY’S CHAPIN for take out. The drive through was backed up from the order station, so I decided to go inside. Perplexed, I found both entrance doors were locked, so I knocked on the take out window which no car was driving up to?? The employee came to the window. I asked why the doors were locked and she replied “The dinning room was full and we only have two working the front desk. I replied, ” the dinning room is NOT full and I wanted take out.” I then asked “can I speak to a manager?” Suddenly the manager, who I guess was, came over from near by, and before I could speak, he proceeded to close the window in my face and said sternly, “GOODBY, WE DON’T NEED YOU HERE”. I then took photos to document the employee ‘s LIE (would love to leave photos here if I could). I don’t believe in my 72 years I have ever been talked in that manner at any restaurant. Needless to say I’ll never visit that establishment again.

Pristine Zaxby’s with newer farmhouse style restaurant design, conveniently located right off the highway exit. Landscaping was immaculate and parking lot seemed new and spacious. Thankfully we arrived at the drive thru line when there were only 2 cars ahead of us. Ordered ahead in the app and everything went smoothly. Probably only waited 3-5 minutes from the time we arrived to the time we pulled out of the drive thru line with hot food in hand!
Zaxby’s staff were pleasant, respectful, and dressed in clean uniforms.
Ordered the Chicken fingers Kid’s
menu size and everything was as expected. Delicious!
Will definitely stop here again when driving by. Super positive experience.

Second time visiting this location and having an issue with sauces not being in the bag when picking up. I placed my order in the app for pickup in the drive-thru. The sauces are clearly printed on the sticker that was on the bag. I asked the girl at the drive-thru, who was nice enough, if the sauces were in the bag since the bags were taped up and sealed, she said yes…well surprise no sauces. I don’t like spending almost $60 on 4 meals to turn around and eat them dry with no sauces. I don’t keep condiments in my house since they’re not healthy and this was our monthly eat out meal that we enjoy the things that aren’t healthy…well so needless to say my family did not enjoy this dinner especially since the sauces are what actually make their chicken good. Zaxbys sent me a survey asking how my experience was, I answered it with this same info…it then told me they’ll try to do better so if you decide to entertain this location, check on your sauces.

This was some of the worst food my family and I have had in a very long time. I’m not sure if it’s because we don’t ever have Zaxbys and we don’t know the standard or what, but it boasts having “real” chicken, and this tasted nothing like that.
