We had Zax Creamery for the dessert at our wedding reception and it was so delicious! It was hard to decide which flavors because all that we tasted were delicious, including the lower sugar cinnamon roll. Our guests loved it, so fun to see the kids running across the venue to get in line. They served so much ice cream and were there longer than expected to make sure all of the guests had a chance to get some. And Zach and the team were excellent to work with leading up to the wedding day, so attentive to what we wanted! We will definitely be getting ice cream from them again in the future and highly recommend them for any events!

We’ve been going to Zax for several years, but in the last year my coworkers and I have become regular regulars. Stopping in 1–3 times a week. Somewhere along the way, one of my coworkers, Rachel, created a drink we now order nonstop… and we think it deserves official status.
We call it “The Rachel”:
☕ Iced white chocolate latte
Skim milk
☁️ Sweet cold foam
We regularly order 7–10 of these at a time, and the Zax team never skips a beat. They’ve come in early for large orders, powered through espresso machine issues, handled busy holiday traffic, and have even helped me carry drinks out to my car. The customer service is consistently above and beyond.
At this point, The Rachel has become part of our work routine — and honestly, it might be time to put it on the menu

Not only is Zax BY FAR the best coffee place in town, they are also the best ice cream place as well! They have recently added an extra room for eating. Also in the entrance is a nice patio with several tables.
The staff is always on top of their game and friendly. Prices are lower than your name brand coffee chains. This is the Mom and Pop stop that you won’t regret!

Amazing service! We got to sample so many flavors before making our selection. We ended up doing a flight with Cookie Monster, Farmhouse Raspberry, Thomas Jefferson (like a fancy butter pecan as our server explained), and Double Oreo!! Sooo tasty and for a fantastic price. It was a fun environment to sit and enjoy our ice cream in, too!

Visiting jasper from out of town for my birthday. My husband and I stopped in here for some ice cream on a wed afternoon. He got the double oreo with chocolate syrup and I got the rocky road with chocolate syrup. Soooo delicious!!! The staff was patient and friendly with us, and it was reasonably priced.
On a Thursday morning we stopped in for some coffee. My husband had a hot matcha latte and I had the house coffee. Both were very good and also reasonably priced.

We’ve stopped by a couple of times when we’re in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It’s a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn’t always the case with “dairy free”). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper.
