Zatie’s catered my father-in-law’s repast, and everything was absolutely amazing. We ordered more than five items to serve 30 people, pound cake, chicken, mac & cheese, green beans. EVERY DISH was delicious.
The day we picked up the food, my husband and I were so hungry that we grabbed a spaghetti plate, and that was FYE.
We’re already looking forward to the next event, and knowing it will be a joyful one with Zatie’s a part of it. Special thank you to Ms. Bailey and her team for ensuring the food was fresh and prepared with love.
Zaties helped us out & in a week’s time.

Great lunch stop! Today they had baked chicken, hamburger steak, beef tips/rice or neckbones for the meat choices. They had greens, cabbage, black eyes peas, mac/cheese, candied yams, rice and gravy for sides, roll or cornbread. I had the hamburger steak with cabbage, greens and a roll. Nice size lunch plate… The hamburger steak was a thick patty but seasoned well and tender, the sides were good as well. Will definitely return when in the area!

First time visit. I came back for the smothered pork chops. They ONLY have them on Wed. & Sun. So I am trying the beef tips. I always get the Cabbage, Mac Cheese & Yams . 2nd visit and they always have charm. Thank you Zatie’s for clean good food with a smile.

My sister and I stopped in to buy lunch before heading to work. We ordered mac & cheese, which was spoiled, oxtails, which was disgusting!!!!! We also ordered yams, which tasted like someone poured the whole bag of sugar in it!!!! I haven’t patronize Zaties in a long time, so we decided to give them another go, boy we were SOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! Needless to say, we won’t be going back EVER!!!!! The bake chicken always look raw, also the corn bread was old. A had to throw the whole plate in the trash where it belongs. If you eat there, be prepared to have gas, you’ll be passing it pretty much all day. Also, make sure there’s a toilet near by, your stomach will definitely be torn up!!!!! If I can give Zaties a zero, I definitely will!!!!!

This was my second food stop of the day. I live in Center Point, so I like to spend my $$ in my neighborhood as time permits. Admittedly, the plan was to get an apple fritter or two at Pop Donuts, but they are now closed on Mondays. Zatie’s really impressed me by how clean the place was, the friendliness of the service and the way the employees reacted with each other in a very pleasant and helpful way. I got the dark meat chicken combo with yams and mac and cheese. I had to wait a minute or two for the mac and cheese to be refilled, but it was definitely a worthwhile wait as i found out once I got the food home and began to eat. The baked chicken was also really tasty. I’m assuming the yams were cooked with butter and brown sugar because they taste like the yams i grew up eating and that’s how they were prepared. It did take me a couple of meals to finish everything, but I was definitely happy to have made the stop.

Somebody at this establishment is “cookin like a motha” . The best chicken n dressing, baked spaghetti, smothered chops, and mac n cheese in town! Period! Nothing is OVERLY salted like that place in Irondale with the heavy plates! You can taste the love, care, and concern in Zatie’s dishes. They need to up their collards and cabbage game tho because they dont have that “flava” Im use to.
