We LOVE Zarza! We go to the location in Lakeland often. So when we were looking for a good place to eat after a trip to Legoland, I cannot tell you how excited I was to see they now have a location just 5 minutes down the road from the park. The Lomo Saltado did not disappoint (one of our favorites). And the kids were happy with the chicken nuggets and French fries. They have a large selection of Latin American food and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Moving from South FL we were seeking a sit-down place like La Granja, El Balcon de las Americas, La Brasa or Pollo Tropical. We decided to give this place a try since it’s closer than driving to Lakeland, and it did not disappoint!! The man that took our order seemed to be the owner and he gave us great customer service, despite us unknowingly arriving within the last hour of business. We did not feel rushed and the owner expressed much appreciation for giving the spot a try. The food was very delicious, I regret not taking a picture beforehand. We had the 1/4 chicken special with rice, red beans and fries. All the sauces were very good too. I’m surprised at the more negative reviews, but I’m glad my experience was quite the opposite and I would recommend anyone to give this place a try!

Order online and the website automatically uses the shop app. Ordered over 30 minutes ago and checked the app and it said ready within 1 hour and I’ll get a notification when it’s done. Called them after 30 minutes and they said it’s been ready 5-10 minutes after order. So that’s 20+ minutes sitting there. I ordered a chicken meal and arapa. I get there and he says it’ll be ten more minutes. The chicken was still on the grill (40 minutes after ordering) and the arapa had to be “cooked” aka it wasnt ready. Got the food and chicken was very chewy where I couldn’t cut it with a knife barely. Had to bite into it just to realize it was absolutely hard and disgusting. Maybe 1/4 of this chicken breast was actually decent. Will never order from there again which sucks because i live 2 minutes away.

Delicious food! We ordered the half chicken special with rice and beans and a steak burrito. Everything was delicious! The sauce bar has lots of options like pico de gallo, onions and jalapeños, cilantro garlic sauce and more. Service was great. Definitely coming back

We just discovered this place and had the Fried Rice. My wife had chicken only and I had chicken and steak. This was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. It was truly outstanding, with just the right amount of spices without being overwhelming, very large portions, and the meat had great flavor and was done to perfection. We’ll definitely be going back. The lady who took our order was also very kind.

For the better part of a year, I have come here 2-3 times a week. Due to Recent staff changes, I’ll be seeking other options. The food is great. The issue, is the customer service. To get spoken to, you have to practically force conversation. The guy taking the orders can’t even remember the cups for our drinks, before walking off like we bothered him by coming in. Then again, when we dare ask for utensils. Guess we are supposed to just eat rice by hand now. Can’t even brush it off to them being busy, as we were the only people there. Great food, being ruined by poor customer service.

The food was okay, we ordered via DD and the food came packaged well, still warm and fresh. Side salad was disappointing it was basically taco toppings (shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, cilantro and shredded cheese) Steak was ok, baked chicken was nearly identical to Walmart’s $6 rotisserie, the boneless pork chop was seasoned nicely… However the boiled yuca was SUPER dry almost inedible. Yellow rice and black beans were really good. Sweet plantains were perfectly cooked.

Absolutely delicious I ordered to go for Lunch . Got me the 1/4 ckn lunch specials . Very delicious and filling. Flavor all over my mouth. Those little containers with the different sauces and pickle veggies ughh absolutely yummy. Will come back soon. Also The restaurant looks beautiful and the bathroom very clean smelling clean. I hope it always stays like this.

Stay away from this place! I ordered a Cuban sandwich and yuca. The girl at the register didn’t know the difference between a Miami and Tampa Cuban, it didn’t matter either way because I got a ham sandwich not a Cuban. Guess we should have asked how they prepared the Yuca (see photo) large chunks of unseasoned, fried, inedible garbage. The wife ordered fajitas, came out looking like stir fried beef! No bueno for a $44 bill.

Finally found a Latin food spot nearby. This place is great and has many different options to choose from. I’ve eaten here twice and both times have been absolutely amazing. The food has delicious flavor and always taste super fresh. Definitely one of my new favorite spots here in Winterhaven.
