Zareen’s in Mountain View lands at about 3 out of 5 for me. The food was good but nothing particularly memorable. The samosa was decent and ended up being my favorite item. This location is takeout only with no bathrooms or tables, which makes the experience a bit inconvenient if you plan to eat nearby. Overall it felt a little overhyped for what you get, though the flavors were fine.

We like Pakistani food. This place serves great dishes. Approximately 6 months ago I got sick consuming this places food. Very upset and runny stomach for days. That night was really bad but slowly I got better. Yesterday I thought I give them another chance. This time avoiding fresh vegetables. First bite of my food and there was a big piece of egg shell in it. Ok perhaps it’s there accidentally. Second bite and bigger piece of egg shell. Losing my appetite the waiter offered to replace it. They did and since I was hungry , I ate it. All night up with same issue. Had to take medication to suppress the problem. Unfortunately they lost my business

This was a small take out spot . We found some seating outside . I heard a lot of good reviews about this place from word of mouth. So I was were excited to try ! Ordered palak paneer , samosas , biryani and chicken tikka masala . I think everything was mediocre but the samosas were bomb ! I would not order the palak paneer again . The chicken tikka masala was decent and biryani okay . Service was good and food didn’t take that long to come out though . I don’t recommend the thali .

We love coming here!! The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Naan are so good you have to try it if you come here! We also got their cookbook and the recipes are super good as well. I totally would recommend eating the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Naan. They are always busy whenever we go there, and the workers are helpful and nice! There is no indoor seating, but the outdoor seating still works great! The only downside is that the parking lot can be full at times, but the food is worth it!!

Ordered chicken tikka masala a la carte, lamb gosht a la carte, and rice. The chicken was a very good choice, I can see why this is a popular staple. The lamb gosht is also quite nice if you’re a fan of lamb. The rice was very fragrant and paired well with the curries. This meal was very great. We could not help wonder if the experience would have been better with in person dining. All orders are made online or via their QR code online. There is no in store seating, it’s all pick up orders in to-go containers and paper plates. There is some seating outside and under a nearby tent but the experience is largely informal. Parking here is adequate, there are enough spaces to handle the lunch rush of customers.

10/10 food.. I highly recommend the CTM (chicken tikka masala)… it is the best I’ve ever had in the Bay Area if I’m being honest. I recommend it with garlic naan.
Parking situation good/free, and the location is a great place to walk around after eating.
Mango lessi is also quite scrumptious. I do NOT recommend the zinger however.

I was in the area a needed something quick. I didn’t realize until I got there that Zareens is now take away only. There’s plenty of seating near the parking lot.
I ordered the Punjab Chicken Burger. The flavor was good but the patty seemed to be a premade, frozen patty. The flavor was just sauce, the patty was boring.
Maybe I ordered the wrong item. There were a lot of patrons so it might have better options. I’m willing to try again.

I’ve been here before and each time I come they’re always very busy! It looks like they recently did some rearranging in the restaurant. Or maybe they renovated? Something looks different. Inside there are not many tables maybe like 5 or 6? There are outside seating but not good when raining like the last time I went. I’d say it’s best to order your food to go.
This is great great Pakistani food! Love all the curry flavors. And I love that you can get the chai tea up front any time you want. It’s always not and hot. The employees are always very nice, always smiling and friendly. Depending if they’re busy, your food can take up to 10-15 minutes to come. But I’d say it’s worth it.

Naan was the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant, way too thick and tough.
Our stomachs were feeling rather unwell afterwards.
Went at 7pm on a Saturday. They were servicing quite the volume of delivery orders.

just ridiculous simply put. this is the third time i’ve tried the chicken sandwich and it’s just so balanced. i’ve seen a lot of places price gouge just to serve such mid food. this place is completely different, utmost respect to the owner and his integrity.
