After visiting the American Heritage Museum in Hudson, my husband and I found Zarape, about 8 minutes from the museum. Being from the west coast, it’s difficult in New England to find the style of Mexican food we grew up with. Zarape is not far off though! The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The margaritas, appetizer and our meals were all delicious. I love the style of beans they do…flashbacks from home. I got the Dona Oti Margarita with hibiscus and watermelon and my husband liked it so much he got one too. The Queso Fundido app with steak was amazing! I’ve never had anything like it but the liquid cheese was magic ❤ My only critique might be that some of the dishes lacked salt, but overall the food was great and we’ll be back when we’re in Massachusetts again!

They just opened. The food we received was great. 3/3 food orders were wrong, a correction promised by the manager never materialized. Our second round of drinks (same as the first) was also incorrect and our server incorrectly identified them. We were charged for the wrong ones. Wait times are long. I would say either order to go or wait a few weeks for them to get everything organized. We were one of three tables when we placed our food order so I don’t think it was that it was too busy.

We arrived an hour and 15mins before closing time. We ordered 3 meals.I have not been since right before covid. The sides were half sized. Rice and was room temp and dry with small half filled bowl of soupy refried beans that had an odd taste, must be new recipe. Fajitas were ok. Just not worth $80 including tip. I would not recommend going an hour before closing.

This was our first time at this Mexican restaurant. The decor of this restaurant reminded me of another Mexican restaurant we have been to in Page, Arizona. They welcomed us with warm tortilla chips and freshly made salsa and they both were very tasty.
