The food was delicious, but lacked the “zing” that I’m familiar with – possibly the toppings were more basic than I am familiar with. The quality and packaging was great.
The fully renovated restaurant is amazing, just look at the photos. Everything is new and modern and well designed. There isn’t much privacy though, so expect an open concept dining experience.
The staff is very friendly and certainly above par for all of the local competition.
I will definitely return.
However, I went to enjoy some delicious middle eastern food and that’s exactly what I did. The portions were generous and everything was so flavorful. It felt like just a few short minutes after ordering that the food was at the table. Delivered with a smile and kindness, as if you’re family. Who would I recommend go here? The better question is who wouldn’t I recommend going here!
I’d call it a hidden gem, but they’re already so busy and being visible, right on Maple, you can’t miss it if you’re driving past.
We went up to pay at the register and to our surprise, we were charged for the fattoush. I guess we were expecting it to be taken off our bill since we ended up not eating it and that was disappointing. We didn’t mention anything though and paid the full bill. There is a 3% charge if you pay with a credit card. It is waived if you pay cash. We paid $35 for two sandwiches basically. No fries with sandwich.
I truly was hoping to love this place but I’m not quite sure how I feel. It’s not really about the $9 for the fattoush. I just thought given our experience, it would have been standard that the management would have at least taken the cost of that off our bill.
This was our first visit to Zara Eatery, and it instantly became one of our favorite spots for Middle Eastern food. We’ve tried plenty of restaurants in the area—many of them excellent—but this one truly stands out.
The menu has all the classics you’d expect, yet every dish tastes just a little better—whether it’s a more authentic flavor or a subtle twist that elevates it beyond the rest. The interior has been completely redone and looks beautiful, modern, and welcoming.
The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and the entire experience just felt right from start to finish. I really hope they keep this same energy going because this place is something special.
The interior of the place is so nice and modern and very classy, staff very welcoming and friendly and you can tell the food is made with love.
Will be returning soon to enjoy more of their delicious food! HIGHLY recommend
