You MUST experience this Hot Pot at least once! This is one of our our favorite food spots. From the time you walk-in, until you leave all in-between has always been a very pleasant, inviting and TASTY vibe. If you have no idea “how to” hot pot, don’t worry the staff and videos in the seating area will show you how. You can choose your broth 1st, your veggies 2nd, meat/fish 3rd, your drinks (YES, they have yummy boba) Taro, Thai cold or hot drinks, they also have appetizers if you’re super hungry. The hosts are always very warm and friendly. I have seen other reviews talk about (not enough dipping sauce) They will refill ANY dipping sauce, simply ask. I chose Tom-Yum broth, and my guest chose Spicy Miso broth, in case your wondering. With all the above food I mentioned. For 2, it comes out to About $80 with the Tip included. Try it!!!! You won’t regret it. Enjoy.

Fantastic Service, Fresh Veggies and the most Delicious Broth and Sauces!!!!
We got:
the spicy Miso but got it mild at our wonderful waitress recommendation and WOW talk about Yummy!
the spicy broth this one was packed with flavor and it will definitely clear your airways! delightfully pleasant!
We also got the chicken broth for our 6 year old and he loved it.

The Service was top notch, our waitress was right on top of everything had great recommendations and answered all our silly questions. She definitely made sure that everything was five stars!!!!
Go to this place. You will not regret it!!!!

***Big highlight, they are individual hot pots. So you are not sharing it with everybody else. You have your very own!

First time here but a friend who frequents brought me and I don’t leave reviews often but man oh MAN was this food so flavorful and delicious. I will absolutely be coming back and bringing everyone I know. I can’t wait to explore the different broth options but the proteins were the most flavorful proteins I’ve ever had from an Asian restaurant. And my Thai lemon iced tea was amazinggggggg. If it’s your first time, make sure you get the sauce flight and try all three and mix up your palate as you eat because there’s so much to explore that your mouth will surely thank you for.

We went on a Thursday night. We were seated right away. The restaurant offered a nice relaxing vibe with an à la carte menu. We had a great time making our own soups and trying new foods. The flavors were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Not your traditional hot pot restaurant. There was lack of dipping sauces and condiments including no hoisin sauce and no scallions. They also don’t give you separate utensils like tongs for the raw meats which wasn’t fresh and still very frozen when it came to the table. But the appetizers were delicious especially the curry puffs. We will return but probably only for the Thai food.

amazing experience at this hot pot restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent—attentive without ever feeling overbearing. The whole place was spotless, and the staff were super helpful in explaining the process and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious, clean, and welcoming restaurant with an interesting experience.

Some people say it’s not “traditional” hot pot. I would assume thats because it’s more based in Thai traditions and hot pot is not usually Thai

I recently dined at Zapp and had a hot pot experience that left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant has a warm, inviting ambiance that sets the stage for a relaxed meal. Additionally, the cleanliness was impeccable, with the dining area and restrooms spotless—a clear sign that they take hygiene seriously.

However, the dining experience itself was less than stellar. The service was notably slow, and it was frustrating to wait so long for our order to arrive. The seafood served with the hot pot was also disappointing, as it didn’t taste as fresh as one would expect. Given that seafood is a key component of the hot pot, this was a significant letdown.

The servers were not very attentive, which only added to the frustration. We had to flag them down multiple times for basic requests, and it felt like they were either short-staffed or not well-trained.

For a hot pot restaurant, preparation is crucial, and this is where Zapp really needs improvement. The ingredients should be prepped and ready to be cooked by diners, but that wasn’t the case here. It seemed like they were struggling to keep up with demand, which affected the overall experience.

In summary, while the atmosphere and cleanliness at Zapp are commendable, the slow service, less-than-fresh seafood, and lack of attentiveness are areas that need urgent attention. With better staff training and management of the hot pot preparation process, this could be a much better dining destination. For now, it’s a mixed bag, and I hope they can improve these aspects soon.

Just to start this review off I want to say I definitely would recommend “HOT POT”. today was my first time trying this place and it was an amazing experience! I started off with the TARO for a drink without the bubble and it was an excellent choice, very creamy and had awesome flavor. The crab Rangoon was very creamy, light and had a very pleasant egg flavor. definitely the best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had & Spring rolls were very light and fresh not a ton of flavor but definitely a nice treat! Of course the main course was the hot pot and it was very flavorful. I ordered the ZAPP for broth to mix my meat and veggies and it was the perfect amount of spice and flavor .. I will say, the spice will creep up the more you eat .

This place is clean, bright, colorful with high quality vegetables and meats and tasty desserts. The staff was very friendly and took their time teaching us how to use the hotpot stoves, the service was prompt but everything was tasty. The menu had many options for the kind of meal you might want including none hotpot items. The nice thing about this restaurant is that each one of you as the guest have your own pot and don’t have to worry about your family members eating an item you’ve been waiting to be ready. So each one of you at the table can choose your own broth and items to add to the broth. Everything was on one level so no pesky steps for those in a wheelchair. This is a great place to introduce someone that has never done hotpot before and for those that are pros you could find new desserts and items to try.

I gave this place 5 stars for the experience !

I’ve gone here once before and was blown away at the unique and wonderful experience my partner and I had. The first thing you do is pick the broth. The spicy broth is out of this world amazing and extremely spicy . It was burning my mouth but I couldn’t stop eatng it. Next , you pick the items that you want to cook in your broth. The items are served raw, the directions on how to cook them are very easy to follow and the experience is so much fun.

I came here a second time with my sister, I raved about it and just had to take her. When we arrived , we found they were closed for re-stock , two hours. We tried to find another place in the area that would give the same experience but there weren’t many options that matched. My sister and I decided to come back when they opened again, no regrets. Once again they did not disappoint.

My advice is if you are going with multiple people and all of you want veggies, get the veggie plate and split it. There are two sizes. It will save you on the bill at the end , as each item is individually priced and you can choose as many things as you want . It can get very pricey if you aren’t careful.

If you are lucky , you will get a server who doesn’t mind topping your broth off when it gets low and you have more food to eat.

The melon boba tea is so delicious. It was a key component in calming the burn from the first visit when I tried the spicy broth. Extremely refreshing and effective.

The dipping sauces for the meat/ dumplings were amazing ! There was a peanut sauce that was rich and flavorful , a nice salty soy based sauce , and a sweet and sour sauce.

We ordered ramon for the noodles and a veggie plate to share. I picked the pork slices and she picked the shrimp and pork dumplings. Both of us ordered a boba tea for a beverage. It was around 54 dollars (give or take) before tip. Well worth it and perfect for a fall/cool day.
