I go to a new restaurant every single week always searching for food to “wow” me and THIS WAS IT. We got the I am pretty sure we got the Arepas Cabimeras and it changed my life. We went half and half and got two meats and also told the cashier we were sharing so they brought it out on two plates which was so kind of them. My mom and I don’t know anything about Venezuelan food but the cashier literally explained the while menu to us and what everything was. Everyone needs to go eat this.

This is a small Venezuelan style restaurant. They have excellent food. The empanadas are the best I have eaten on the area. Their Venezuelan style burgers and hot dogs are great too

First time trying Venezuelan food, and they did not disappoint!! Service was friendly and they helped pick out something we’d like. We loved everything we tried the passion fruit and mora jugos naturales were 20/10! Will go again and recommend it to anyone!

The friend plantain tacos are HUGE and yummy. I loved the green sauce. They make them from either yellow or green plantains. Bothe are super yummy!

I think they should be more careful about who answers the phones, because I had a very unpleasant experience today. The person who answered my call hung up on me while I was giving them instructions about my order. I asked if they had anything sweet, and the person sounded annoyed and impatient with my question. They told me they didn’t have anything in a very abrupt way and then hung up on me. I thought it might be a technical problem, so I called back, but they kept transferring my call, as if they didn’t want to sell me anything. The voice was a man’s, but they really should make sure their customers have positive experiences and receive kind and respectful treatment. I hope they take this into consideration. Thank you.

Absolutely mouth-watering delicious! We stumbled upon this place when our original destination was closed and we are SO glad we did! It’s amazing and has huge portions.

My first time. Venezuela food. Delightful. The hostess was very kind and helpful. Bright colors and decor. Not something typically found in Utah. Absolutely worth a visit if you have never been. I gave a low rating for atmosphere because the music was a bit loud. I did enjoy the cultural music.

We were looking for Venezuelan food on Google and found Zaperoco. I’m so glad that we decided to try it out! Everything from the service to the food was perfect! Our waitress knew everything about the foods and was very patient with us explaining all the dishes. We love empanadas so we decided to try all the flavors. The chicken was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes just melts in your mouth and the beef was perfectly cooked. We then tried the plantain with Venezuelan cheese on top and my 8 year old was obsessed and ate the whole thing. Lastly, we tried their traditional pabellon and we were also pleasantly surprised at how yummy it was! The rice and beans were cooked perfect and the meat was delicous. Wow we cannot wait to go back and try more items from the menu. The inside is really cute and they even have a stage so it would be fun to go there when there is a live performance. Thank you again for being so nice to my kiddos and explaining everything to us on your menu. If you are in the area please add Zaperoco food to your Utah food Bucket list!

OMG/ADM. Stumbled on Zaperoco after a long day of running around and SO glad! Haven’t had Venezuelan food this good in years. Definitely a top 5 restaurant for me overall, and made Utah a little less meh for me. Now when is karaoke, and more importantly is there any bailoteo?!
