My aunt and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was nice and spacious with traditional Mexican colors. The waitress was pleasant and attentive with service being provided in a timely manner. Great job with that! We started off with a margarita: Blackberry, Passion Fruit, Dragonfruit, and Mango. They all were pretty good. The chips and salsa were just ok. My aunt ordered the steak chimichanga that came with street corn. She said the corn had too much mayo on top but the chimi was good. I ordered the Nacho Supreme without refried beans. Due to the water off the chicken, it made my tortillas soggy and the cheese watery and tasteless. The waitress was understanding and replaced them but I had the same issue. I really tried to like them but they just were bland and the lettuce was wilted along with the cilantro. I paid for a meal I didn’t eat and left hungry. I think I may give this establishment another try with a different dish. I’ll definitely try the drinks again.
Then we watched the Manager engage with every customer but us. The atmosphere was dead and dry. Coming from out of town, this visit was not worth our time or money spent.
The fajitas had a great flavor and made fantastic leftovers. They have plenty of seating so I don’t think you would ever have to wait for a table. My friend said the queso is great, so try that if you like that sort of thing! Their chips and salsa were great too.
Lack of Greeting: I walked in and wasn’t greeted or acknowledged for several minutes.
Poor Priority: A customer who arrived after me had their order taken before I was even spoken to.
The Wait: After finally being seated, I waited 10 minutes just to get salsa to the table.
In an empty restaurant, there is no reason for service to be this slow or disorganized. I felt like an inconvenience rather than a guest. I hope management takes the time to train the staff on basic hospitality and attentiveness.
A customer should never feel as though their business is not wanted or welcomed into an establishment. I felt like an inconvenience rather than a guest, and I won’t be rushing back.
December 22nd: Replying to your response. You must have me confused with another dissatisfied customer. I didn’t order a Cadillac margarita ( I don’t drink alcohol ). I ordered nachos and Lemonade. Due to the horrible customer service (2nd time) I politely exited your establishment, never taking a bite of the food or a sip of the Lemonade. Treat ALL people the same, regardless.
Additionally, right now in mid-December, they have gone all-out on Christmas decorations. Very extensive and very beautifully done. Almost worth a visit there just to see them.
I’ll be back for more!
