Went here for the first time for some lunch and it wasn’t to busy. You walk in and look at the menu and order before you sit down. They have a very large selection of things to eat. I ordered the Carne Asada plate and my wife ordered the Crispy Chili Relleno and both came out hot and fresh. We really enjoyed the food we also tried the chips and queso which was also great. I also had to pick up a box of Carne Asada Tacos to go so I included a pic of those as well. Overall I would definitely go back to this spot for some tacos. (Side note the Carne Asada Tacos come with whole beans in them which wasn’t a favorite in the tacos)

A great spot for fast casual tacos and tasty Mexican bites! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and felt like a good bang for your buck. We skipped the drinks this time but did go for the chips and salsa — delicious, though definitely packing more heat than we could handle (we fully admit we’re spice wimps). Overall, a solid pick when you’re craving quick and satisfying Mexican food.

Recommend Zapata Taco Shop. I came by here right before closed and they were still very accommodating and my food was outstanding the fries were pretty good and moderately priced.

I’ve been here twice, and definitely not impressed with the food. They charged $7.75 for guacamole and chips. Small serving for the price, about 3 salsa containers worth of guacamole. Fish taco was overcooked and the fish piece was thin and small… I’ve had better fish tacos anywhere else.

Today we decided to try this place for the first time. The atmosphere is nice. The interior is modern and you place your order at the counter, then take a seat in the dining area. Your food is brought out to you when it’s ready.
The people were friendly and the food came out fast. We had two different dishes. One was the pollo asada plate and the other was the carne asada nachos. I have to say both dishes were just okay. The flavors were fine but nothing exciting. The chicken in the pollo asada was dry. The carne asada nachos were just okay and nothing special. We probably won’t be back for a second time. Just too many other places to check out.

Go here. Talk to my favorite Taco joints in colorado. Great sauces, great tacos. If you want burn, they have it. I love their crispy rellenos. And the staff makes you feel at home. Thanks for a great meal!

This place is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town! The atmosphere is laid back and casual, but the food is anything but laid back. The food is fresh, the flavors are bold, and the portions are generous. The salsa bar has several options to choose from. I highly recommend the guacamole, steak bowl, and the churros for dessert. I can’t recommend Zapata’s enough. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for quality food at reasonable prices.

i went after work and ordered to go. then i decided to sit and eat one thing hot. omg! the chili relleno! it was the crispy one. i have to try them every place i can. this was yummy! i also ordered a birria taco and a carne asada burrito. (no i didn’t eat them all!) i tried them all to get an accurate taste while they were hot too. at least that’s what i told myself. lol! i was very impressed by the food, the atmosphere cuz i was grungy from work and i didn’t feel uncomfortable, and the service to folks around me. (as i ordered to go i didn’t have wait staff) ill come here again. probably ill just go ahead and order to stay cuz the 30 minute drive home with the delicious smells coming from this bag will torture me.

Great “Taco Shop”!!!, authentic Mexican flavor. Very impressed with the quality. We all had the Zapata Taco, Tripas Taco, Bushes Taco, Lengua Taco, Quesa-Birria Taco, and a Revolucion Torta.
Everything was great!!!
Cons:
It is a bit disappointing that you have to place the order at the counter and pay first Vs. ordering at your table and paying when finished. Ones you are seated if someone wants to order more food… you have to get up and go to the counter to pay first and just for that reason you decide NOT to order more.
In my opinion… it would be best for both the customers as well to the establishment if you would serve more like a restaurant instead of a taco stand.
Either way I’m coming back and I recoment this place!
