I got the Kabob Combo it was delicious 10/10 and I have tried different places. Rice is moist and fluffy, chicken was juice and meat was tender. The sides delicious will definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

I have been a patron of zankou for decades. Some locations are better than others. This one is cool but they have been getting cheaper with the portion sizes, especially for a $20 plate. Additionally, a fraction of the time they burn the meat and it taste like charcoal. Overall, staff and service is good. Food is good but ya too cheap. It’s always been inconsistent but last 2 times was less and less.

Great spot for good Mediterranean food has the authentic Lebanese flavors which I really enjoy. Highly recommend ordering ahead and picking up the place is small. The parking lot is awkward but the food is worth a little chaos if you’re looking for a relaxed eat. This is not the place for you. If you’re looking for good flavorful food quick, this is the place for you.

Finally, I decided to try out Zankou Chicken, a place inspired by Middle East flavors. They have pretty healthy options. I wanted a chicken and rice plate but opted for the chicken tarna salad bowl. Salad was great with fresh ingredients and well seasoned and tender pieces of Tarna chicken. Loved the tangy olives! Too new for me to try the Baklava(?) desert but it looked good. Will definitely come here again. My salad was huge and filling–I couldn’t finish:).

Finally, a Zankou close by. The tri-tip Shawarma plate is my favorite. But everything they have there is actually pretty solid, including the falafel. This is more Armenian and Lebanese not typical Greek. Big difference because of the spices that use that adds all the flavor. I used to go to the one all the way in Burbank all the time and this one is just as good. Glad to see that they’re starting to make their way south from North LA. I would post a photo, but I ate all of it.

My official first time visiting the restaurant since they open and by mistake I ordered something wrong management fix my order immediately so far has been the best service. I have got this entire year by someone who cares so much about client satisfaction I would rate them five stars on everything parking was easy food was good, very fast sometimes with a lot of clients they manage to be quick with our orders thank you to the employees and especially the manager. Good job.

We love the hummus normally, but tonight it was really bitter and the shift manager tried it and said it tasted normally. We asked some other guests and they said it tasted bitter as well. Additionally, the shift manager used the same spoon to taste it out of two different containers. Was my favorite place to eat but won’t be back. Manager was dismissive.

Welcome to Long Beach. I have been going to Zankou Vermont for sometime now. Very happy to see them here in Long Beach. Opening a short time ago I believe the food, service and atmosphere will improve. It’s loud and chaotic right now which is expected. The chicken hits the mark and the sides complement the entire. I shared the family chicken with 3 people and the serving was well proportioned. I believe the family chicken combo is a good value.
