Good fresh healthy tasting food. We ordered the beef tri tip shawerma with rice and tomatoes. And half a chicken it comes with pita bread and choice of sides I only got sides with the tri tip and hot the chicken ala carte
The total was $31.22 although it was good I do think $17.99 for the tri tip was a bit steep considering the majorityof my meal was rice..I was the last order of the night as they were closing and the guys behind the counter were super helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend as long as you’re good with the prices.
***UPDATE
I went back for a second time and had the beef kabobs and this time I tried the whit garlicky sauce they serve with everything and it was soo yummy.. I definitely would suggest the kabobs over the shawerma which was also good but kabobs were better.

Thank you I’ll be back

I recently visited Zankou Chicken in Anaheim and was impressed by the flavorful Mediterranean dishes, especially their signature rotisserie chicken and garlic sauce, which were both delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly, taking the time to answer menu questions and ensure the order was correct. However, the wait time was a bit longer than expected during lunch hours, and seating felt limited when it got busy. Despite that, the quality of the food and generous portions made it worth the visit. I would definitely recommend Zankou Chicken to anyone looking for a tasty, casual dining experience with authentic flavors.

This is by far the best Zankou location! Forget all the ones in Los Angeles! The food here is so tender yet flavorful, delicate yet filling. Most importantly, it never hurts my stomach like the Los Angeles locations do. The smell is also much more appealing – not greasy or overwhelmingly unappetizing. Plus, the people here are friendly and kind, and the environment is much cleaner. Keep doing what you’re doing! Just amazing!

The food was fresh and tasty as any other Zankou location- past and present. Service was a bit slow and not the most friendly. Tables were dirty and no one came around to wipe them. The portions got smaller and smaller trough the years.
The chicken dishes stand out at Zankou, but it’s worth noting that their falafel is just as impressive. Rice or salad bowls w/ protein are around $13 and come with 2 sides. Plates are around $15 and come with 2 sides+pita bread.

Used to go there once sometimes twice a week . Love the food very much but unfortunately will stop going and family as well. Mostly because of trust ! Yes they fail to take my orders on phone too many times showing up after ordering and no signs of my order . They forget ! So we don’t go anymore. Same with my neighbors .

Just ate here for the first time. Wow! Food is so good and it’s fresh! Tons of employees working hard, great friendly staff, and very clean. My wife ordered the chicken kabobs and I had the cut chicken. The dips were out of this world with flavor. The garlic sauce is a must and the pita was fresh. Different but definitely worth it. I will for sure be back and trying lunch. Very refreshing to have another type off food different than the norm.

First time eating here and it was delicious. I’ll be back for sure. I got the 2 kabobs combo 1 chicken and 1 steak. I was barely able to move when I was done. You have to try the cucumber mint lemonade as your beverage.

The chicken was so good I decided to order a whole chicken to go!
I rarely get to eat at Zankou Chicken, but every time I do I’m thankful that Beck name dropped it in a song. Always hits the spot! Service was great and employees were helpful! The restaurant is very clean!

Adriana was very unwelcoming due to the fact that it was busy around 6pm. Made me feel like I was bothering her just for entering the restaurant. I had also asked her if the mint lemonade would be refilled and she assured me it would be, but I ate my entire meal and it wasn’t refilled. I love the signature lemonade.
Brandon was distracted on his phone doing some business talking on his AirPods while sitting at a table; while 8 people were waiting at the register. Adriana had to get his attention by loudly saying his name over the intercom.
