Great wngs, especially the mango habanero! The Nashville hot were great also. We got the fish n chips, gyro, and Philly cheese steak, all were incredible but the wings and customer service were the best. I didn’t get a picture of the wings because we devoured them so quickly

My first meal in Colorado was great but my lasting first impression of Colorado hospitality was not so great. Not very welcoming. I am a Big fan of customer service and Zane’s Tavern Willits unfortunately fell short. I can’t blame the staff partially. The only two running the place were constantly moving and getting the job done with a busy rush. Waitress definitely had an attitude, but she was busy. I get it. Beer was cold. Food was good. I give it that.

(Late review aka 2 weeks) Amy was horrible, I’ve never had a bad experience with another bartender or server here though. I have been here over 4 times (basalt location + Aspen location) and each time I have had an unpleasant experience or totally mediocre experience with her. I have heard from multiple of my friends that she is great! ( but only if you tip her well or give her a good “online review”)
Unfortunately, I was unable to give her a good review BEFORE getting into Zane’s so I got the “normal Amy experience” as many of the people around me said. Poor service and a miserable waitress, seemed like I was dubbed as a poor tip from the start. All good I’ll go to Bucks!!!
Good luck with her if you ever have the unpleasant experience!

Let’s start with the bad so I can build them back up.
The serving staff IS great, but they were SUPER overworked. I counted 2 servers, each running around like crazy to cover everyone, with one bus boy. I noticed a lot of the people who entered after me having to wait upwards of 15 minutes for one of the servers to be able to get to them.
Aside from this, I have no complaints.
The food was DELICIOUS, and it came out quickly and was fresh, none of it was under a heat lamp for an hour. The restaurant was clean, they had numerous football games on, and the place was abuzz with content customers. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. The long wait wasn’t so bad that it ruined things, but that’s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, because it won’t let me give them 4.5 stars. Totally worth the stop!

Even on a packed Saturday night the staff was phenomenal. Amy and Andy were so attentive and absolutely crushed it. The place was slammed, but they were fast, and genuinely kind. No one made us feel rushed or forgotten. Huge shoutout to Amy for keeping things running smoothly when it could’ve gone sideways with the Zane’s crowd.

This Zane’s Tavern is located within the beautiful Willits Town shopping center in Basalt. We normally eat at the Snowmass location, but we were in town, so we decided to stop by. The food at this location is just as good, and the restaurant is on the newer side. On another note, this whole Willits Town shopping center area is beautiful.
