We had such an amazing Thanksgiving meal here. Liz was our server, and she was so attentive and awesome. Turkey was so tender and delicious It was such a great place to celebrate. Grounds are pretty, and the dining room decor was fun.

Zane Grey BBQ made our wedding reception at Kohl’s Ranch unforgettable with their absolutely delicious food! We had three types of BBQ meat and BBQ cauliflower for our vegetarian/vegan guests, squash, salad, and mashed potatoes and for dessert- peach cobbler and ice cream. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly cooked, but the brisket was the star—our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The team was professional, punctual, and made the whole catering experience seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make their event both memorable and tasty!

We decided to stop here for a quick breakfast. We ordered the Flapjacks, the Breakfast Sandwich, and the All American. Everything tasted great! The young lady that served us was very nice. The also sell a variety of homemade jams.

Just ate at the restaurant tonight and had Liz D as our server. We were greeted at the door and the place was very clean and warm which is what we needed on this cold night. We had two drinks and shared a pizza. The margarita pizza was fantastic, Tasted perfect and homemade. Liz was amazing and very friendly! She was working by herself and very busy but still managed to keep the whole bar running perfectly! Zero complaints. I would absolutely come back again. Liz was a rockstar!

Read the reviews that said food was bad – we had bbq platter and it was very good. We would definitely be back for more. Was slow both times we were there which we enjoyed actually, the service was also great, very good drinks.

A bit pricey but it was good. We order the turkey club and 3 cheese pizza. Everything was great. Would have taken a picture but we ate it all before I thought about it. Frys could be a little more crisp but server was kind and fast.

We made a reservation by phone and when we got there they said they didn’t have our reservation information. They said that it wouldn’t be an issue since the restaurant only had a couple eating there. Warning sign #1, the place was almost empty on a Friday evening. Drinks were good, except the waitress dropped the drinks and they all had to be re-made. The waitress didn’t know the menu very well. There were 6 in our group, 3 had prime rib @$39 each. Not fit to eat, over cooked and very thin portions. The other meals were at best just “ok”. Pork-in-beans tasted like they came out of a can. Coleslaw had flavor but had big pieces of stems. The BBQ was drowned in BBQ sauce. It took 20 minutes to get the check straighten out and it’s a “mandatory 20% tip”, for Poor service during the meal. The only good thing about visit to this restaurant was the drinks and the atmosphere. We will certainly not be back and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.

I’m going to be honest, I’m a bit shocked by the negative reviews. I stayed at Kohl’s Ranch Lodge with my family and we ate here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is fantastic!!
We ate almost every type of food on the menu and it was all delicious. The staff were extremely kind and seemed happy to be there. Pizza and sliders were top notch and the best item on the menu is the cobbler(both the peach and blueberry)!! It was perfectly spiced with the right amount of sweetness and I have thought about it almost everyday since our stay.
