My husband and I recently moved into an RV. We’ve decided to start a tradition where we order pizza from a local business when we get set up at a new place. Zanders was our second stop. Their pizza is amazing! Fresh ingredients, crust with a bit of crunch, and a bit of chew. I ordered half hawaiian, half margeurite, and my husband had a calzone, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the wood fired taste. The restaurant itself feels cozy and rustic. The staff were friendly and considerate. We ordered to go, and they gave us water to drink while we waited. The peanut butter cake was also really tasty. Not sure if they make it there or order it in. Would definitely recommend. All thumbs up!

First time to visit this pizza venue after reading a feature article in Tennessee Home & Farm Magazine about this unique spot. Food taste was good. Service was excellent. Pizza came out quick. We loved the Meatball appetizer! Located on Main Street in downtown Dickson.

Sometimes we’re in disbelief that we can have so many good experiences but here’s yet another. I had the best meatballs ever! The marinara has a lightly sweet hint but not too much and it keeps it from being bitter❤️❤️. And because I love meatballs, I chose the half house salad. That salad was large! It was also perfectly constructed. I had toppings with every single bite and the lettuce was fresh and cold. I learned that it is locally sourced. It’s probably the only place that I would confidently recommend the house salad. You’ll be pleased. My husband had a pepperoni pizza and it too, was great.
The service was spot on too.
Overall 5 stars! We loved it all.

Saturday July 26, 2025 had a craving for Zander’s Pizza. I drove from Clarksville to Dickson for pizza……after getting back to Clarksville and opening the pizza box, wow, not what I was expecting at all. Both mine and my husband pizzas were burnt on the bottom and tasted nothing like previous pizza. Not sure who was ‘the cook’ today, but they have no business cooking. Not good for Zander”s reputation. I’ll be driving to Calbria in Goodlettsville from now on.

First time trying it and it’s the best pizza I’ve had so far in the area! The cheesy bread is buttery and delicious, and the pizza has a slight crunch to the crust which I love. Our server Hannah was kind and extremely fast getting all of our food and tending to the group. So happy to find a good pizza place and we’ll definitely be back!

First time here, had the Zander pizza and a house salad. Both of them were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, looking forward to trying their other pizzas when we come back.

We came to Zanders from out of town for a date night Friday a little before 5p. We were sat immediately by the front window and our server was prompt and kind. When I ordered my personal pizza called the Charlotte I requested they not burn the crust sonce its wood fired and can burn easy. They obIiged my request and my pizza was cooked pretty fast…came put before my husband’s who had some burnt spots on his pizza. (I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY CRUST NOT BEING BURNT BUT I THOUGHT THE OVERALL CRUST WOULD HAVE BEEN THICKER IT WAS THIN) We ordered the Caprese appetizer and both thought it was very delicious and would order it again. Lastly, we ordered a to-go Tiramisu dessert but when they brought it out in a box it was super small like half the size you would normally get at a restaurant. I would not recommend ordering the baby slice for $6.50. But we had already paid for the whole meal at that point and leaving so we didn’t have a chance to complain that the serving was minuscule. Overall, the historic downtown building had a nice ambiance and the pizza wasn’t bad. A pricier place for just two people on a casual pizza date.

SOOOOOO good! The food is perfectly prepared. I got the cap rear as an appetizer, delicious. As my meal, I got the Zander personal pizza, again, delicious! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Abysmal, honestly. I travel for work often, and side note that I’m actually from West TN originally, and I like to try local pizza joints. I absolutely have to have gluten free options, though, so finding a local spot with such options is reason to celebrate. Usually. Not this past Monday evening, though. I remember passing a Marco’s on my way to Zander’s, knowing I could get the kind of quality I look for regardless of the crust. And now I am extremely disappointed that I didn’t just go ahead and stop there instead. Hindsight, etc. etc., as they say. I stopped by Zander’s to carry out. The girls at the front were nice enough, took my order – gluten free crust small, pepperoni, light sauce (see receipt). See photos for what I received. Also accepting my own responsibility in this since I didn’t check it before I left, but you know… I figure fellow country folks know how to cook, something I’m no longer taking for granted. Now, light sauce can be pretty subjective, but what I received clearly was not (yes, I peeled the pepperonis off before I took the photo, salvaging whatever I could). At least, not on the right half of my pizza. I ate the left half because I was hungry after a day of traveling. But the cheese situation was similar on that side, too. Not only was the cheese lacking altogether, but the mottling of the cheese was also very off-putting. Fine to have a signature cheese blend, but make sure it’s consistent with what you advertise online. There’s definitely some variance in texture and consistency with what they advertise, but it’s far more appealing in that warm, rustic way on the photos online. What I got was far from it.

I wish I had gotten even a frozen GF pizza at this point. It was that disappointing. The next time I stop through Dickson for business or to visit with family, I will not be stopping here. And my mama n’ ‘em are going to hear all about it. I even tipped $2 for a carry out order. A little extra care could have been taken here…

Wood Fired pizza oven used in those restaurants. All food is prepared from scratch. You can actually watch them make and prepare the pizza dough here . Nice restaurant in the middle of Downtown Dickson, Tennessee
