Food and sweet tea is very good. From breakfast to lunch. Pancakes are on point. Today we had fajita botana, and caldo de res. Portions are big.

Got the shredded beef flautas, everything tasted delicious, beef was seasoned very well and super tender! Huge serving well worth the money! I normally don’t review or take pictures of my food but this was amazing and hit the spot. Great service! Make sure you check them out. I will definitely be back.

The food is always great and Freida at the Monte Cristo location was efficient and attentive. The atmosphere was not pleasant as it was very muggy and hot inside the restaurant. It was the same way during my last visit. The ceiling fans are outdated and the ac unit is not working properly. I suggested to staff that they would definitely benefit from a mini split being that this is a location that is frequented alot.

My family and I always order botanas from this location for big parties because they are delicious and have never disappointed. Well today we decided to randomly eat lunch at the restaurant because we had never done so before. First off, it’s very small and I didn’t like that the restrooms were literally right behind me just a few feet away. Every time someone went in or out it just felt so unclean, that’s how small it is there’s just not appropriate space. Also my husband and I both got sick from the food. We know it was the food because we got so sick we couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day until the next night. We always make sure to sanitize our area and use germ x before eating, nothing in the restaurant appeared to be dirty or unsanitary except maybe the floors. Not sure what in the food caused us to get sick but we were disappointed in our first trip.

I ordered the chicken fried chicken with salad and fries. The salad and water good, the chicken fried chicken was not good at all. It had zero taste and tasted as it had been washed after it was cooked.

Love the botanas for 2 from here. Easily food for 3 or 4, just get extra tortillas. I have them put my veggies on the side. Usually ready within 20-30 min.
