I didn’t give 5 stars, only because there is no way to order their delicious green salsa through door dash. But they do have the best chicharrón in Fresno.

I love this place. It’s just a little hole in the wall restaurant with really good food. The service was excellent. I had a couple of carnitas tacos. My son had a wet burrito and our friend had a Chile Verde plate. All the food was delicious and the tortillas were homemade . The prices are good.

The food is good and pricy. The service is not good. I was standing up for 10mins waiting for my order to be completed. The lady didn’t say a word to me while she was serving the customers at the restaurant. While waiting 2 customers walked in. They were not greeted or try to smile (in case the language was a barrier). I would not recommend to family or friends bc to me the quality of food matters as well as customer service.

The Carnitas and Homemade Flour Tortillas are very good. But I have enjoyed Ceviche, tacos, Chicharones, Buche, Tripas and breakfasts here. It can get busy during lunch but they have a backroom as well.
Still enjoying the food here. It still gets packed. The homemade flour tortillas are still fresh and yummy.

Their homemade tortillas, and their carnitas are something special! Definitely the best I’ve had in Fresno. Also, their chicharrón are so fresh and crunchy; definitely one of a kind. Their carne asada sopes are a must try as well!

The food and service were amazing. I had the carnitas and ceviche, the fish was super fresh and the carnitas were very flavorful. Our server was super nice and Mr. Gomez himself came out to ask us if we liked the food. Amazing experience

Main reason to come was to try out the carnitas. The service was really good, they were very attentive. Atmosphere was really good as well. Went during lunch time so there was a good crowd in there. It didn’t take long to get the food. I ordered a carnitas taco, adobada taco and sope de res. The tacos weren’t bad, wasn’t as much flavor as I thought it would be. The sope barely had beans or meat, which I was dissatisfied with. The taste wasn’t bad I just hoped they would have done a better serving. There was points where I would bite the sope and it was just beans and lettuce.
My daughter and husband enjoyed their plates.

My food was served Hot and in good time. Although the portions are deceiving because of the very shallow plates. And the homemade tortillas were burnt. As for the flavor, it was a little on the bland side. My Chile colorado was almost like Mole.
So I’d say it wasn’t the greatest, but not horrible.

The atmosphere of the actual restaurant is nice. I only gave it three stars due to the construction surrounding the restaurant location and how some might find it inconvenient to get there. However it was a delightful surprise to see that Belmont overpass was looking real nice and we ended up taking that home and it was pretty cool to drive it.
